He Mustn't be viewing p casey o Neill and o Donovan as starters cos if they're 100% they wouldn't weaken the Limerick team in anyway. Who knows what's going on in there though you'll have to trust their judgement.

Rightly or wrongly byrnes is being targeted at half back I think o Neill might be able to do a job for us there but of course it's a qf and for obvious reasons no chances will be taken.

Maynooth to Monatestervan via Rathangan is the route to take on busy days, avoids all traffic

They wouldn't weaken the team but what is out there has done little wrong to suggest they should be dropped either.

Casey or Reidy is pretty 50/50 and Morrissey and O'Neill similar. All 4 will probably see game time in every match when fit it's just a case of who starts and who finishes.

O'Donovan hasn't a hope of starting ahead of English due to how good the latter is. He only starts if Lynch was out and English moved up.

Casey and o Neill will make bigger impacts of the bench than Morrissey or reidy would. It's a 20 man game now. Just because someone is not starting doesn't mean there not rated.

Kingston of cork is a classic example

Hope WOD improves in croke park as in my view he is the luckiest player to be a regular, I think he is fine for a battle game down in ennis or walsh park but I'd prefer CON in the vast expanses of croke park, way better scoring threat too

They are totally different players playing totally different roles. O'Neill can't do what O'Donoghue does and in fact no one in the country can. He is absolutely integral to Limerick.

It's not all about being able to score.

I remember filling in as a last minute replacement goalie to play a challenge match on the Pavilion astroturf in UL, a good few years ago now, with the Na Piarsaigh Under 21 squad against a visiting club from Kerry. Obviously Gaelic Football so, says ye. 😁 A lot of the hurlers were still playing both codes at that age level. I saw Will O'Donoghue and Adrian Breen perform impossible skills with the big ball that night, stuff that would make you gasp if you saw it on hurling highlights. Unbelievable talents, and they've only gotten better since.

Agree. He does all the dirty work around the pitch. He's what they call in soccer the water carrier.
