It’s probably a combination of mileage on the clock and mental fatigue that has caught Limerick

While the bigger players hegarty lynch gillane and a few of the backs have shown glimpses of great play they just can’t do it for prolonged periods anymore that’s normal there not robots

Kiely has 100% been to Loyal to the likes of byrnes and others when they have been got at in a few games

Looking at limericks panel Flanagan very out of form Casey not a starter anymore o Donovan has hardly hurled in 2 years hannon was finshed last year

The biggest thing is apart from the bull o Connor o Neill and English who are all from midfield up there been no young fresh defenders break into that back six just players converted to defenders or moved into different positions in the backs

In fairness Limerick have been hell of a team since when they made the breakthrough in 2018. As the old saying goes though all good things must come to an end eventually.😉

Bit unfair to say Dublin have zero chance of getting near Liam trying to belittle the opposition doesn't really look good Dublin were down to 14 men in Savage heat and they won against a team that is renowned for it's fitness Dublin deserve more that being slagged by you accept they were better as Limerick were the last few years I was at the match and they were really passionate and thoroughly deserved their win fair play to them

I dont know if this is the end of the Limerick team but they took their eye off the ball today and were lacking their usual intensity.

Thats that now. Limerick have had their one game with everyone thnking they are back to their best, same as last year. But the fact is Limerick have had 3 wins in the last 9 championship matches. It's the end of an era

I said the very same thing about WOD at half time, the man did not even touch the ball in the first half, his opponent the fublin number 8 had 4 points I'm sure

Coughlan isnt really an option. Have a look at the 2nd goal Tipp scored against Limerick in the league below in Pairc Ui Chaoimh last year- Fellas like Coughlan can only be trusted in Croke Park if your up 10 points!

should have tactically taken off reidy straight after red. Flanagan and bull on. Extra man up front and Dublin would have to sit deep

A sad way for this team and management to be remembered. For a team from a county starved of success to redefine how the game is played and win 5 AIs in 6 years, we will always be thankful for the joy and pride they brought us. Today is not how this team should be remembered but it was an awful defeat. Sorry Dublin, people might say they were great and all that but the story today is about how poor Limerick were. Dublin will be gone in two weeks and their moment in the sun soon forgotten. Today was a sorry display - both from the players but even more so from the sideline - by one of the greatest sides to grace the game and unfortunately time has come for the KK rule over the team to end if we are to inject new life and ideas into many of these players who are still in their 20’s. This wasn’t the greatest shock ever, the signs were there for 12 months but you could sense the 5-time All-Ireland winning team were gone when Dublin started out scoring them after Crummey was sent off. A man up against the 3rd placed Leinster team and struggling - car crash stuff.

It's hard to get over how terrible it was. They played like it was a league match in March.

Adam English kept us in it and Nicky the only other player who wasn't fuking up.
