Not me. Buddy. I'd be feeling more than a tad nervous if I were him.

I'm the sap who actually fished the corpse out of the black bin and put it under the trees behind the back fence so they could have a proper funeral🤦‍♀️

Reminds me of the time our cat was killed on the road and we buried him under some birch trees. Even a cross with some sticks as it was a Cat-o-lick funeral. And a Robin landed on his grave. And that cat was a terror for catching birds. Honestly. He was there because there was freshly dug earth. But it was all quite emotional and beautiful. I told my mother in law she wouldn't get such a beautiful funeral as that and in such a nice private location too.

I sometimes park in Parent and children spaces when I have my father with me as he needs more space to get out of the car and cannot walk far. Technically we are parent and child, just not in the way most would be thinking.

They mate for life so if you kill their spouse they get a bit upset!

today has been a day that’s featured lots of technology misbehaving. Sorted as of tonight or this morning but I fully expect to wake up tomorrow the way things are going to find that the fridge has gone and cooked all the food inside of it… 😝

When I saw someone doing it recently, he was on his own. It's parents and child with no age range specified.

Waiting for a daily standup meeting. It's like an extra special daily dose of anxiety.

I hate losing jackets...and you always lose the good ones.

The symbol for parent and child parking is an adult with a child in a buggy or being held by the hand, so some would argue there is an age range.

However, as parent and child parking is a courtesy only, and non-statutory (unlike disability spaces) no one is going to get in trouble for using them when with their elderly parents.

Head of training wants me to download a version of Excel 19 to my personal computer(not the ta) but now I get a message I might lose some software if I do (causing a bit of a quandary) instructions today say to make sure before I install it to have the disk or code to, I assume reinstall any missing progs.

Wth outside of businesses have an installation disc or code anymore?, even I download the progs! Ta2 its all too exhausting to do after walking 3 hours in the past two days and fasting for 13 hours. Ta3 when did life get so unnecessarily complicated?

A fly just walked across my laptop camera during a teams meeting and it looked llike an alien invasion. Nobody said anything but judging by expressions, a few people spotted it.

woke early because my neighbours dog was going fûcking apeshįt again. Non stop.

Tip : If you are living in a close knit highly populated area, fancy getting a dog…. How about you do a little research as to what breed might be less prone to going absolutely apeshįt morning noon and night ⛔️

One of his direct neighbours I don’t care for, the other is a lady in her ‘80’s with a lot of health challenges and generally considered for as long as I can remember as everyone’s favourite neighbour…….actually favourite people full stop… yet she has to in her twilight years as do the rest of us deal with this absolute inconsiderate melt of a spanner with his midnight DIY and his non stop barking mutt into the bargain… absolute 🤌🏻

The wherers thread has stopped on 30/3/2024 for me.

I can see on the main page people are posting in it, but when I click into it no recent posts.

    This site is bananas!!

So I'm not the only one, I probably should have checked the "bugs" thread before posting 😂

Mentioned in Feedback, it started yesterday and is affecting other threads too.

Some people seem to be posting so I wonder if they can see the latest posts? If I click on the last post from the home page I get a 'Page Not Found' message.

My OH was at a conference thing yesterday. She would normally put her nice rain coat on her chair but this was at a hotel that had a coat rack area. Out of sight out of mind. She got home before she realised she had forgot it. We headed back there a few hours later. No sign of it. Gutted she was.

In fairness it's been all over the news since this morning.

My TA is gowls on Twitter whinging about the road being closed when the accident was "only" in the left lane. A person is dead, ffs, have a bit of humanity.

(Not in any way directed at you, iamwhoiam.)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,278 ✭✭✭✭iamwhoiam

I understand that someone died and its very sad . I said the same as we sat for 90 minutes from Firhouse to Lucan exit and that we were very lucky not to be involved

But it was deeply annoying that no warnings were on the slip roads before entering . People all around us missed flights and hospital appointments etc We dont do twitter of FB or anything like that so knew nothing about it

The Gardai had no control on the chaos

So annoying. Maybe someone picked it up by accident.

TA my wardrobe is due a clearout and reorganisation.

This thread is acting up more now. I can see on the homepage that @CrowdedHouse posted but can't see his post.

What if I've missed a reason to bring out the pitchfork? Very TAed.
