I can't actually get into the game. After pressing x at the first title screen, i get a black screen with the wifi symbol and a circle that keeps going round and round. I understand if i was trying to hey into a multiplayer game but i can't even get to the main menu, 2K suck so much balls. I'll add ye in the morning and set up a test event.

The menus were v slow for me, assume as said above overload from the new Plus players, hopefully settles in next day or two. But yeah, 2K suck....

Yeah getting a lot of time outs and some server error messages tonight probably with the Americans online servers can't cope

I always hated how even in 2k21 the menus could be seen to be pulling info from the net to load!

Guess that's the side effect from having ads all over the menus 😊

Added any invites there. Duplo, you're still listed as pending request, can't make you admin yet. Romero and Jim are only ones so far listed as members, made them admins so they can accept invites as well.

Anyway, without further apu, the inaugural event of the Boards.ie Society is now live. Killarney Docks (rated 4 star with thousands of downloads). I have no idea about the course but let's jump in!

I was heading down that path too, +3 after 2. But I managed to keep it to +3 on the way out.

Then on the way back I got -1 to finish with an okay +2.

With the glass like greens, you could nearly hit a stroke limit on each hole on that course 😅

You should stay in I had a terrible round as well, it's only a bit of fun, we can get better plus we me and you can have a competition on who wins the wooden spoon at each event 😀

Finally got to give this a go, my first spent at this game outside the tutorial was the first boards event, maybe not the best idea, finished with a rough +10. Some downright bad shots mixed with some tricky greens. Next even will have a real course and not a made one. The made ones can be fun but some tough spots also. Some good scores in there, -2 is gonna be tough to beat.

Welcome to my world 😀Glad I'm not playing with lads who can hit -10 on a round. I was sorry I didn't play a practice round on the course before playing the event just to get a feel for how it plays.

I did a few rounds of the ranked qualifiers and man they are tough.

Looking forward to the next event.

Btw in the last society did we have any non boardies applying to join?

Yeah, a few randoms joined but couldn't tell if their psn names didn't match bosrds names or lurkers on here who wanted to join but not post so it's hard to tell.
