And Prendergast misses AGAIN. They seriously need to look at giving someone else kicking duty as this is really unacceptable at this level even its only u20.

Great set move try, England left know one on that wing.

Let someone else kick now, one of the backrow lads might do a better job.

Think everyone needs to calm down a bit. Prendergast is having a bad day off the tee. It happens to everyone.

steady on. on prendergast. he's missed a few kicks. not had a great game. he had some awesome games. he's 20. its not a bad sign. its natural for guys that age to mix good with bad. he's learning. as long as he learns then all good

    That could be a red.

May have been a sharp turn in direction from the Ireland player before contact though.

Prendergast seems to be rushing the kicks worried about the kick clock

    Another lovely try.

Great lineout maul then lovely hands from Prendergast to McErlean through the gap.

Eng 24-20 Ire with 60 minutes gone, England lose a player to a yellow, Ireland kick the penalty into the corner, held up before the line off the line out, but go again and get it down next to the posts. Excellent composure.

    Score now Eng 24-27 Ire

62 mins gone on the clock

Excellent counter ruck from Paddy McCarthy.

Gunne decided to take control of this game, a lot of character from the players to come back

Penalty to Ireland, kicked to touch, line out worked well, huge piece of play to split the defence for another try! Unbelievably clinical.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,404 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That lineout maul again is a lethal weapon. Some excellent running lines and hands to score another try.

They've really exploited England being down a man.

When they are on they are on lovely turn around!

That was a brilliant try, looked like it was about to breakdown in the middle but kept to the plan. Super stuff.

9 points down to 10 points up in what, 10 minutes?

They did this a few times in the 6N too - look dead and buried at some point and then smack a team with 2 or 3 quick fire tries and suddenly have a healthy lead.

Theyre far from the finished article but there is huge heart in this team.

And now Ireland have finally woken up!!!! This is what we've been crying out for.

Ireland lead by 10 with 66 mins gone.

England do the sensible thing and take 3 points from a penalty, reducing the deficit to 7.

Eng 27-34 Ire, 69 mins gone

    Wow.

Neither side can keep a lead.
