It's funny I think this came across as false modesty and while I get the point you are making about being humble to be hungry I think the point I was trying to get across was a new appreciation for not sweating the small stuff. While that may seem reductive it is not meant to be I still think its important to give best effort but also realizing that in the grand scheme of things it is a minute part of existence and as such the pressure put on ourselves is disproportionate to the actual relevance.

“We suffer more in our imagination more often than in reality.”

This is something which has really struck a chord with me in recent months. Often small things built up way too much in the head causing unnecessary stress and anxiety I needed to take a step back and look at context a bit more

As I have mentioned in the past to you though Ed. A coach is just the compass, not the ship

Interesting. Considering your recovery pace dropped a lot (Wednesday session after rep 2 and 3) you still went faster the last rep and seemed to have “paid” the price for it or was that planned? Would have thought it’s better to keep the pace consistent until the recovery pace isn’t dropping and starting to become too easy?

the last rep was slightly more favourable (small little drag in the middle two reps the last 30 seconds) so I reckon effort wise they were on par.

As for recovery pace I expect it to drop off at the moment as the aim is full recovery and fact is I am not fit so not too worried by it for now it will come in time for now just happy with solid on efforts without being too taxing

Any graph that's going up and to the right is generally something to celebrate.
