Playstation Plus discussion thread - Part deux

The trilogy should come with a warning saying if you're not enjoying 1, move onto 2! There is a story catch up and it's a **** fantastic game. Much better combat and epic story about building a team for an epic final mission. 3 then builds on top of that, absolutely worth it if you enjoyed 2. Don't let the first game put you off the series.

My playstation plus sub is up in February I'm on the premium version atm. I haven't looked into it to much since the plans changed but can you still get PSN credit online for cheaper then updating the sub online via the playstation website?

Had a quick look at Enaba and cdkeys there all sold out of the Irish store credit.

yeah it's been since Brexit came about that CdKeys and Eneba stopped having Irish PSN Credit in stock. Eneba have had stock the odd time last year but there usually wasn't much of a discount. And you also can no longer use your mobile credit to get PSN credit too😫

Feck! Guess just gonna have to drop a tier or two cause not paying 120 a year!

I was thinking of buying my nephew, who lives in Spain a Playstation Plus subscription.

Am I correct in thinking he needs this to play multiplayer online games? And if he does get it, he can download a lot of games to play on the sub?

Finally, what would be the best way of getting it for him to use in Spain?

Weird it's not the remastered version of LiS even though the originals looked better. Like Jim, can't recommend them enough, especially BtS if anyone played the first and skipped that prequel, adds a ton to the story.

Poor month for me, already have Mafia and the other 3 don't interest me. Here's hoping that line about Mafia possibly being replaced in some regions is good, and we get something different. /selfish

Happy out with OlliOlli World, loved the last one but never pulled the trigger on this.

I own Mafia but an absolute treat for those who never played it .

I wanted to try Evil Dead for ages so another good one for me.

OlliOlli World is a great game and really enjoyable.

Yeah, no surprise they're doing this now the PS5 is available. All of those games are still currently claimable except for Persona 5 which was removed early last year.

Do I need PlayStation Plus if I wanted to buy a game online from cdkeys or the likes?

I got the email aswell but already have them in my library...

For fellow thickos like myself;

1) go to PlayStation store (not plus)

2) right bumper for ‘Collections’

3) scroll down to ‘The PS Plus Collection’

4) scroll all the way right to ‘View All’

5) go through and make sure all 19 are added to library. Should all say ‘Purchased’ or ‘In Library’ - unsure why there’s a difference

Yeah I seem to remember when the PS5 came out it was expected by people that the Plus Collection was only a temporary thing.

So lasted longer than I expected.

Last time I looked at PS Plus Collection was on the console. Have never seen it in the app.

I think the difference is In Library games are installed, Purchased are not

Official line is that if you let the subscription lapse, you could potentially lose all access to all games you've managed to get before, even if you resubscribe.

In practice, I've a vague recollection of someone losing access to one game after restarting a subscription but the rest were still there.
