So you're just gonna leave out the context of the grid boxes being smaller than usual?

And compliance being difficult is the exact reason a lot of lap one incidents are written off as lap one incidents. Because compliance is difficult, due to visibility amongst other things.

Yellow line shows them where to stop. Hamilton, and the others were stopped for it. The issue us they were slightly to one side.

You have to park on the line and Hamilton was parked behind the line as the line is how the stewards detect if someone jumps the start, he didn't jump the start but the rule is you park on the line. Everyone else managed to park on the line except for Hamilton and I assume Zhou and who ever the other driver was were the same so the 3 of them should have been given a penalty of some sort. If the rules are there, enforce them

Would it not be easier for you to just say i hate lewis hamilton in your posts rather than typing all that out save you a bit of time and all 🤣

Merc 1-2 for the first time this season doubt either will convert it but here is hoping for an anyone but max/redbull win with the exception of Stroll and Latifi as they just dont deserve to be in cars let alone a win...

I'll be hoping for a Max win,

He is still in a great position for it.

They said on sky's coverage that they weren't ahead of line, but the boxes were narrower than usual. With the cars as wide as they are, and with 3 cars all doing same thing, it's clear issue is with track, not the drivers.

Same here, would be simply lovely if he overtakes both Mercs and sails off into the distance adding to his win record. The meejums were clearly the wrong tyre to be on for such a short stint on low fuel. Hopefully no more mistakes like that today.

I’m looking forward to seeing how hard the Mercs fight with each other, probably a waste of time for them as I still don’t think they are quick enough for a race win under normal circumstances.

I want to see a tussle between the two alpines! And no holding back.

Boring for you maybe. I'm sure it's not going to happen like that anyway, there'll be plenty of action throughout the field.

    Ms

You'd hope that Lewis would get it for the record, but George looked very, very good.

No thanks. If either of the Mercs wins I hope its George Russell. Can nit wait to see the stats at the end if this season with Kevin Magnessun having 1 pole and Lewis Hamilton with a big fat 0 pole positions and wins. Will be delighted for him.

Go on Max for the win or even Sergio would be great to see.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Am hoping the mercs make contact into T1/4

The meltdown on sky would be epic

F me christian is such a smarmy c u next Tuesday. Basically it's all checos problem they won't tell max to do anything. All the help checo has given max and it's like na bro you are the door mat for max that's all. I hope they tell him from race one next season he isn't allowed to compete again. Rather than leading him on again like this season.

If I was Mercedes and wanted the win enough, I'd want one car to do the deed and risk a DNF to help the other one.

Double whammy there between RIC and MAG - both out along with the safety car.

Thought the redbulls got very close at the start with Norris looming, need to see that again.

So the grid boxes weren't the correct size yesterday according to Brundle 🙄

Thought a lot of cars had done well to avoid each other up to then. At least MAG got a point on the board yesterday for Haas.
