Evening Race again this weekend , and Sprint Race on Saturday and Quallifing for that on Friday evening .

If you are wondering what is still there to watch for.

Still up for grabs , P2 in the drivers Championship , all Glory is gone to Max so we are kinda left looking at the scraps he left on the floor

P4 is also up for grabs , big gap but still could be closed

In the Constructors ,

Mercedes Can Catch Ferrari it is a 40 point gap but they would need to maximise everything this weekend and the final race to pull it off .

Mclaren are 7 points behind Apline . That is Tight and and a lot rests on Lando shoulders again in keeping that battle open.

Alfa Romeo V Aston is a 4 point Gap . Could go either way depending on which Aston Team shows up

Haas V AphaTauri is a 1 point gap .

Yeah I couldn't track who used what from the allocation during quali. How many sets of fresh softs do merc have now?

They know a fresh set easily gets through 24 laps now and RB have decent tyre deg.

That was a great little sprint. KMag did well to lead for a lap, and still got a point.

Stroll was crazy, he did similar a few races back too, didn't he? 10 seconds seems lenient.

Mercedes looked strong, might be on for a win tomorrow? You'd hope that Lewis would get it for the record, but George looked very, very good. Pity about the absolute tedium of the Mercedes drivers interviews. PR'd to the point of painful.

The TV direction was very annoying for me, so many jumps between camera angles, especially at what looked to be key moments.

No penalty, they weren’t in their correct grid slots but the stewards’ reasoning given for letting them off and not applying the rules was that “the drivers’ visibility makes compliance extremely difficult”

That’s an interesting precedent to set for future violations of track limits or pit lane lines, or anything for that matter. Apparently you don’t have to comply with the rules any more if compliance is difficult.

Isn't that why the yellow mark is there, the 3 drivers should have gotten a penalty of some description. There needs to be a serious overhaul to the rules or stewards need to be consistent when they punish drivers,teams,incidents during races etc

And compliance being difficult is the exact reason a lot of lap one incidents are written off as lap one incidents. Because compliance is difficult, due to visibility amongst other things.

Yellow line shows them where to stop. Hamilton, and the others were stopped for it. The issue us they were slightly to one side.

You have to park on the line and Hamilton was parked behind the line as the line is how the stewards detect if someone jumps the start, he didn't jump the start but the rule is you park on the line. Everyone else managed to park on the line except for Hamilton and I assume Zhou and who ever the other driver was were the same so the 3 of them should have been given a penalty of some sort. If the rules are there, enforce them

Merc 1-2 for the first time this season doubt either will convert it but here is hoping for an anyone but max/redbull win with the exception of Stroll and Latifi as they just dont deserve to be in cars let alone a win...

They said on sky's coverage that they weren't ahead of line, but the boxes were narrower than usual. With the cars as wide as they are, and with 3 cars all doing same thing, it's clear issue is with track, not the drivers.
