    You're talking shyte.

Of course you find it hard to believe that I'm a mountain compared to your dungheap, it would shatter your existence. So you discard it to preserve your fragile mind. So what? Who cares?

You're talking about refugees, I'm not. I never mentioned refugees.

You're talking about hypotheticals. I'm not.

    You're cherry picking. I'm not.

You're circling around the facts of the matter looking for one new angle after another. You're not going to get it. Reality is reality.

There are too many people in the country. This fact of the matter is borne out through the housing crisis, amongst a lot more. Deal with it.

Do you not think the employed locals give a good example to the immigrants who don't work?

They can learn something from them.

We can do this all day.

They already are 52% of rent is taxed

    ROUGH EXAMPLE

    Rent 1000 pm

    Mortgage 1000 pm

the revenue will send you a lovely bill of 12k being taxable ~6k

this goes back to pay for all the spongers lifestyles

What has this got to do with the South Dublin council rents in arrears by the way? I think it is clear, you don't like immigration, possibly because you think they are competing for resources which are "yours" or something like that. Immigration for the most part is very beneficial for Ireland, we wouldn't have the tech industry we have without it.

It became a tangent after some joker thought to focus in on my mere mention of migration in another post.

"It's clear you don't like immigration". No, what IS clear is that migration exerts unnecessary pressure on housing, forcing prices upward through sheer forced scarcity.

"Because you think they are competing for resources". No, they ARE competing for resources, it's not up for interpretation. The housing crisis says hello.

"Resources that are ""yours"" or something like that". Yes, it's called being a country. I won't be applying for social benefits from Swaziland because, guess what, it's not my country, those resources belong to the people of Swaziland.

"Immigration for the most part is beneficial". No, it demonstrably is not mostly beneficial. It pumps gdp numbers, inflates asset prices for some and suppresses wages and working conditions to the benefit of some. Everyone else loses. For example, look at *everything*.

Migration is a pyramid scheme to prop up failed systems that is destined for failure. Too many people is the problem in this country, and no amount of proselytizing or pavlovian training will change that fact. It's dead.

Specifically to the rent avoidance and arrears of the op, this is, like everything, connected to the running of a pyramid scheme. It breaks, it is breaking, and you can't blame people who either cannot afford it or simply refuse to pay it. Playing honestly in a crooked game is for suckers. A bad precedent for society, but ,again, you reap what you sow.

Sorry what reality is pouring milk on the ground not hypothetical. I gave you a clear example I know and you "cherry picked" not to answer.

You are just an absolute hypocrite

I find it hard to believe you would have any responsibility and ability given your display of ignorance. Calling yourself a mountain is a disturbing. Any hints at what you do at all? You make it out as so important and grand but no details at all. It obviously can't involve financial control given your basic understanding of maths and economic forces. I doubt you make medical devices but I could believe you pack them to be shipped.

You have no credibility due to your direct insults and name calling. No back up to any of your claims. Refusal to engage with question and information put to you . The ultimate is just telling people they are wrong without any foundation of an argument.

  • Registered Users Posts: 134 ✭✭freemickey

    Yeah yeah yeah.

There are too many people in the country. This is manifested in reality.

I can't simplify it any further for you, I'm sorry I can't communicate in the grunts you seem to need, but we all have our drawbacks.

You are assuming every landlord is in the higher tax bracket. That's not true.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,505 ✭✭✭✭Mad_maxx

WOKE is a widely used term, just because it's perceived to be critical of folks like you doesn't change this .

Suspect you have no qualms with terms like TERF ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,596 ✭✭✭✭AndrewJRenko

Widely used by you, and probably in whatever right wing crank circles you hang around with.

You could provide proof. Last time I checked rural villages were complaining nobody was living there. There is plenty of room and all you are saying is you further don't understand what the housing crisis is.

Again your response shows no signs of knowledge or intelligence. Did you even finish secondary school or on the spectrum?

Heard a PBP Councillor vigorously defending the tenants who are 20k in arrears on radio earlier today, presenter put it to him that some tenants strategically set out to defraud the council and he went off on one about how it's down to psychological issues and lack of mental health services

.the councils are in an unenviable position, enforce the rules and idiot socialist politicians attack them for it in the media

If there was work for those people in bed they would sleep on the floor. Yea

  • Registered Users Posts: 134 ✭✭freemickey

Picture, for an instance, some arsewipe on the internet insisting that you are, in fact, an ape. You know you're not an ape, so everytime this person insists you are an ape, your probable response would be a curious smile of amusement, right?

You imagining I'm some ill-educated person is 100% incorrect. You're an amusement to me.

Now, once again I must instruct you. You are insisting there is room in this country. (angle number 27 to subvert reality).

Again, you are wrong. You are substituting the idea of physical space with economic reality. What a fools idea. You know where else has space, the top of Kilimanjaro. Off you go. Bring all your mates too.

    Follow along now!

Step 1. True, productive space in this country has been brought to a practical standstill because it is so expensive.

Step 2. It is so expensive because there is demand.

Step 3. It is artificial demand, driven through the Ponzi economics of migration.

Step 4. There are too many people in this country. Exactly, too many extra people. This continues apace despite reality. Not for long, though.

Now go to Kilimanjaro and think about your next angle of inevitable failure.

Absolute hypocrite with no back up. Stay angry I love it

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,997 ✭✭✭✭rob316

Another absolute waste in legal costs taking this through the courts too. A bill needs to be passed to deduct at source, its the only way to cut out this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 134 ✭✭freemickey

There are too many people in the country, hence housing costs, healthcare failings, educational squeezes, and so on. Simplicity itself. The truth.

    This guy's response? "you're a hypocrite!!"

Like what in the hell are you even talking about, man lol. Get a grip.

It's life-affirming actually, to see the transparency of the emperor's new clothes, not a bloody jot of argument, just flailing words willy nilly, like a landed trout gasping for air.

As for your pathetic "I'm happy because you're not happy!"...

Just farcical. I have no problem stating that it makes me angry sometimes to witness. If you aren't a Manchurian candidate, who wouldn't be?

The world is collapsing on your insipid idealogy, because your idealogy is insipid. Funny stuff man, although it is beneficial for others to read along and see just HOW empty and void this migration pyramid scheme is when put under an iota of scrutiny.

    You're nicked, my son :)

That is the biggest problem in a lot of areas of society

Lack of enforcement of existing rules /consequences

And our society ends up paying for it in the end.

and I don't blame the people at the coalface charged with enforcing either...they are usually let down again and again by the system.

That's one thing I can't understand....if you are receiving a house from the and there is a rent....then why not deduct at source? Is there a legal issue etc

  • Registered Users Posts: 134 ✭✭freemickey

I encourage everyone to read back over this exchange.

It's a lesson in the idiocy of this migration pyramid scheme, culminating, predictably, in the intellectually worthy defence of "lol, I live in your head!".

Idiots are on the side of never ending migration, because they were told to be. Useful to some.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,997 ✭✭✭✭rob316

There is rent reviews every 12-18 months. You don't submit the paperwork, they'll lump a weekly penalty on the account.

The way we've set up our welfare means that deducting at source is close to illegal without agreement. Hell I remember a few years ago someone asking about why the state has to pay so much support to single parents, why aren't the other parents contributing? There's plenty of places will lock you up for not paying child support but here it's "Ah now, can't go garnishing the money they get for nothing".

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,364 ✭✭✭Ray Palmer

There are certain payments ring fenced that deduction can't be taken from and others with a limit. It certainly isn't close to illegal to deduct from social welfare payment and is a daily occurrence. Debt management system is very straight forward. Over payment seen and letter is sent out and the money is deducted over a period of time by a formula. The person can dispute the deduction and/or arrange a different payment plan. Basically not much of what you said is true

In fairness you come across as a foaming at the mouth anti-immigration lunatic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 134 ✭✭freemickey

Ah yes, the lunacy of suggesting reality, that more people equals less resource/increased cost of resource.

Only a f*cking imbecile would fail to recognise the lock-step increase of migration with housing costs every year.

I'm more than happy to come across as a monster to self-destructive imbeciles. Who cares what imbeciles think? Nobody.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,066 ✭✭✭HerrKuehn

It is your opinion, not reality. We benefit for the most part from immigration, the competition for resources is a sign of success. It be even better if we could get rid of some of the dead weight with their hands out, like you.

Ah yes, the housing crisis is a sign of success!

The healthcare fiasco is a sign of success!

    Up is down!

"Extra people living in scarce homes is like, your opinion, man".

Are you out of your mind? Are you so far detached from reality, gagging on the pyramid scheme of migration, that your brain just up and left your body one day?

    "Success"?! "Mostly beneficial"?!

    Good grief.

Also, note how this specimen implies "if only we could get rid of you", just like the other human experiment who also wishes me dead. Note the pattern, that when the ideology of the migration pyramid is challenged, it follows this line....

1 squawk siren calls like "racist", "anti-immigrant' and such.

2 realise their ideology is insanely lacking substance

3 wish you were dead for pointing out their crazed lunacy
