Refusing to get the vaccine is a reliable indicator, and you actively refused to get it long before you happened to catch the virus.

MERS is still out there, and no flu has ever been ‘eradicated’. SARS is hopefully gone, interestingly the last outbreak was thought to have escaped from a lab in China.

I'm not refusing to get it. There's a massive difference between refusing to actively go out of my way to get a vaccine and being not arsed. If some lad landed into my workplace and said I'm here to vaccinate you, I'd stick out my arm and say, "Work away."

Also bucketybuck reckons I'm still refusing the vaccine now. He fails to appreciate that I don't actually need it now and have the EU Covid Cert to prove it.

Vaccine centres all over the country, pharmacies able to give out the vaccines and you want to pretend that you just couldn't be arsed. Plenty of time to play games online though, getting a good laugh telling people things aren't restricted as long as they just don't go to them.

Just admit it, you have had ample and easy opportunity to get the vaccine but are refusing to, you are an anti vaxxer.

We're never going to be out of this. The pandemic will pass but all we've done is introduce lots of authoritian laws that are as much of an issue longer term.

It's about realising that we have to move on and live with this. The vast vast majority of cases are at worst a mild illness.

Time to stop shutting down aspects of society because someone has the sniffles.

would i be right in saying then that with that case numbers will plummet? may not mean theres no covid around just no cases of it? i suppose it will peter out from the news then over the next month or two. definitley found its slowly disapeering off media. clare byrne show the other night and not one segment on convid, has to be the first since early march 2020.

What you saw was a HSE plan on how to transition from mass testing to testing only those who are quite sick, mild illness wouldn't be tested.

HSE also said it won't be adapted in the near future so nothing changes any time soon

It will be interesting to see when Sports start to classify it as a regular illness. We're still seeing games being called off, players/coaches still having to isolate if they are close contacts etc. The virus is going to be around for at least another 5 years. They cannot keep on doing this for some of the fittest people we can find.
