Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Pity but that's gotta be a proper penalty for Vettel. Cases like this the FIA should react quickly and not let him participate in Q3 and then apply the penalty.

    I was wondering what the commentators were on about Alonso catching the field since the time wouldn't allow it. Then I realised I was the one making the mistake of underestimating the potential for idiocy from an F1 team.

    People are allowed to not like him. Great job by him though well deserved. Hopefully he finally gets those points tomorrow.

    Yep that destroyed both Vettels and Alonsos qualifying. He was stuck in a queue and had nowhere to go, he moved offline as soon as he could which sacrificed his ability to start his own lap, but it was already too late. He’ll be stuck starting outside the top ten on soft tyres tomorrow which won’t be easy.
