Saw that about a quarter to three yesterday on the Ballymun Rd. I have a soft spot for them.

That would have been on its way up to the test.

    Seems to have failed :(

Lovely car but the rear wheels dont seem to sit centred in the wheel arches for some reason. This car looks the same, judging from this angle. Its as if they are pushed forward an inch or 2.

That’s lives out my way in ballyer, I’ve seen it regular enough at the lidl in cherry orchard, it’s immaculate.

The wheels are inset - not sitting flush with the arch, so there's parallax error. I'd say if you saw it side-on, it'd be fairly centred in the arch.

Yes, possibly. I have seen it with some side on shots too though. I would need to see in the flesh.

I've seen this at a couple of shows, first time to see it on the road in it's natural habitat.

Reg Nr. IRL 1. A 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne I believe?

I love to see cars like that, especially as clean as that Beemer still out there being used. :) That's a beauty.

Love this thread. I remember my Da got a '90 Charade GTti to replace the mother's knackered Renault 5 and it was a superb little car, faultlessly reliable and as nippy as a Go-Kart. I was very annoyed when it was replaced with a bog standard Mazda 323 before I got my provisional licence.

I seen a lovely red classic Beetle today and I am nearly sure I know the person driving it too. It was running like a new car very quiet and looked like new.

I doubt it. It would sound fake like all the fake modified cars. I seen a 161 Mustang today now that sounded good.

If it was the V8 yes great sound. Most likely a 2.3 though since it was in Ireland you seen it.

As a second car with limited mileage on an existing new(er) car policy they're usually a couple of hundred quid to add on, as your only car usually expensive or they'll just not quote you. Depends on the value of the older car too of course.
