What was the first 7 series to have airbags and did the Mercedes S-Class have airbags first?

Has that thing been abandoned there on a corner? Looks like it has not moved in quite some time judging by the road beneath it.
A shame. It looks like the elements may be begining to get the better off what seems to look like a nice straight car on the surface. Still, looks to be an odd place to lay up a car.

I've seen that Golf GTI around a few times. Very clean example.

What I really like about that photo is that it shows the difference in size between the MkI and the 2007 Golf parked beside it!!! (The 2007 needs some love)

Spotted in Galway Retail Park today a rare enough 93 Diahatsu Fortrak Pick Up

recent north Co Wicklow sightings. I haven't seen this XR3 for a couple of years but good to see it still on the go.
Not sure what year the Landy is.
Also spotted silver Renault 5 turbo passing through Glenealy at the weekend but didn't get a pic as I was driving - hopefully someone else might have snapped it.

    It's something eh?

I had my old E10 parked beside a fairly new Corolla a few times and the size differential is mad to see when they're set like that.

Old Fiesta on the Scholarstown Road earlier. My mother had one of a similar colour in the 90's. As always, I tend to notice moving classics only at the last second so forgive the quality!

Indeed. Maybe I'm getting old but I really don't see why a private car needs to be that big. Although I'm sure my twenty year old me would be itching for a crack in the Audi!

Is that South African? Those headlamp clusters look decidedly yankee though.

No, that was standard spec pre late '82 on the saloons. However, the coupes and the 280 saloon always had the square lights.

A couple from Co. Cavan today.
The Starlet is immaculate, saw it in Ballinagh, sorry didn't get a side/front photo.

The Mercedes E220 is obviously fairly new for this thread, but a teacher at our lassie school is daily driving it.....!

I seen a 15 Ford Edge today in White and three Peugeot 407s today. One was an 07 and there was a 10 beside it and then there was an 08 a little bit further away from them. Thought about taking pictures but had the gigs with me so to awkward. Now if it had of been a phone with buttons I could have done it one handed but been a touchscreen not a hope.

Wow that's not your standard E220 either is it? Is that a 7 seater? Can't be nice driving that every day. It is very long.

    6 doors, Limo.
Must take a closer look and see what it's taxed as.

PSV sticker seems to have been removed out of the back window.

Isn’t co2 tax on that gen e class more than it was on the old cc rates too?

A shabby 96 993 Carrera. Sounded proper though.

No tax band returned - just says it's 95 Euro. So it's either classed as a Taxi...or a schoolbus!!!
