    I’m not sure what the next steps for clearance are, but once your vetting is complete you’ll just receive and email which states that a disclosure has been made to the PAS.

    Into the 80s as far as I know. Possibly considering the competition runs until at least October/November

    I've heard of someone in the 90s. This panel started in April and we might already be halfway through. But things slow down over the summer normally so it's unlikely to be a case of PAS getting through the second half of the panel in another 2 months. Personally I think it's possible that there will be another small batch to carry through the end of the year.

    No i have been nervously waiting for the message all day and yesterday since @Ciaran1239 was the guy immediately before me, i think i'm next and he said he got his at 5 pm so i have an hour and a half to go for today but i'm just nervously pacing until then :/

    Furthermore why is everyone taking this role?

    Anxious about making the big move to a different sector!

    I just moved from HSE to civil service. My increments were sorted before I even signed the contract. Same point on scale and same increment date.

    Should be any role provided it's an actual public sector role (e.g. not consulting, not self-employed but billing the public sector etc). And ofc if you're paid less than AO point 1 you're not gonna get an increment anyway!
