That was close - great drive by Lewis. Hopefully this isn't just first race jitters by Mercedes and it is this close for the rest of the season.

Fair play to Mercedes & Hamilton, was a class race. But they should have been called about going wide on turn 4 far earlier.

At least Bottas got the fastest lap despite that utter fiasco by the pit crew again (never seems to happen to Lewis).

How much of an overall advantage did Lewis gain in the earlier part of the race by, as he admitted himself, consistently going off the track? He got away with it again.

Fair play to Tsunoda. One to watch for the future.

Good race and but red bull left that one behind, impressive stuff from perez and norris with a solid drive too.

Atleast it looks like red bull have plenty to challenge Mercedes with this year.

Horner questions everything. Don’t see there being an issue though as they were told about it during the race and then they stopped.

If it was the other way around Hamilton would have made a clean pass and won the race. Verstappen is quality but still a bit to learn. More composure needed.

That's terrible for Max, abiding by the rules all race. And as it was said earlier, Lewis cheating until he was told to stop. That's racing!

Nobody's doubting his ability, but he does get his fair share of the luck and he cheated today and got away with it. No way in hell any driver was not aware of track limits on any part of the circuit.

Exactly! I want exciting racing, and that’s certainly what we got today.

Superb drive from Hamilton and a clinic in tyre management as always, but lack of patience really cost Max there.

He inevitably would have caught Lewis on the straight at the end of that lap if he had more patience.

Fantastic races from Norris, Leclerc and Tsunoda especially but my driver of the day is Perez.

Hopefully he will get some luck going forward and that we get plenty of opportunities to see what he can really do in that car.
