Can anyone tell me the exact price that the VAT reduction kicks in for Prime members? Looking at something for £23.84 and I don't have Prime at the moment.

It's not an Amazon Prime thing (I can check for you if you link to your item as I have Prime).

    https://www.avalara.com/vatlive/en/vat-news/eu-2021-ending--22-import-exemption--import-oss-returns.html#:~:text=Currently%20EU%20and%20non%2DEU,be%20subject%20to%20EU%20VAT.

Currently EU and non-EU sellers selling goods online to EU consumers can import the goods into the EU, directly to the consumer, import VAT-free if the consignment of good(s) is valued at €22 or below. This ends 1 July 2021 and all imports will be subject to EU VAT.

Revenue’s rules mean that €22 Euro is treated as £19.95 GBP for all of January 2021 . (see the end of the page for the method of calculation.)
£19.95 excluding UK VAT, works out as £23.94 inclusive of UK VAT .

Wake me up when it's all over.

How Much is €22 Euro in Sterling?
Irish Customs use the Sterling to Euro rate of exchange quoted by the Irish Central Bank on the second last Wednesday of each month – for the whole of the following calendar month.

    For example –
The exchange rate to be used by customs for February 2021 was 0.88563 – which means that orders under about €19.48 should be VAT free.

For March 2021 the exchange rate to be used is 0.86960 – so €22 is equivalent to £19.13 .

You can see the exchange rates used here on Revenue.ie

I know yeah. I know it was about £23.90 in January. Just not sure if it has changed.

    The calculation includes UK VAT.

So if your item is less than £22.95 (19.13 + 20% UK VAT) then you should get the VAT off it (with Prime).

Wake me up when it's all over.

I'd have zero issue with the VAT even on items under €22. But it's the crazy handling fee that the delivery company charges that makes it silly. Especially since it is very hard to know exactly what it will finally cost.

I didn't order but looks like a decent deal.

Have had awful issues with Kiln Dried logs locally.. honestly, people selling these things must be aware storing kiln dried logs in a netted bag outside is absolutely pointless.
