That... doesn't make sense. You are biased because you live in America. I am not biased because I am outside observer.

Those are ridiculous statements to make. Did you even check how that data was collected? What sampling technique were used? What the confidence interval is? Or are just rambling about stuff you don't know anything about?

You stated "you're obviously very biased by just looking at your local community", of course I am. These are Americans who vote. Is that bias? 50/50 votes where I live so you get every opinion. Its real opinions, not estimated data, that is based on my interactions with a large proportion (not all) of the local community.

Sampling of a population is a statistical exercise, phone, polls, questionnaires, many people don't answer or want to participate. I am not saying that they do not have their place, but I prefer to listen to what is happening with my local environment. It has been pretty accurate so far!

Question: do you believe everything the polls say?

Yes, that is bias. You are assuming that the opinion of your local community represents the opinion of the nation. That is by definition being biased, I'm not quite sure why I need to explain that.

The study, if you had checked, was not done in just one local community but was done on a national level. The fact that you you have more confidence in local hearsay compared to a population study demonstrates that you don't know what you're talking about.

That's unbelievably terrible logic and I don't even need to explain why.

Are you.... serious? I feel like I'm being trolled here. I mean, you're saying that if you took those "real opinions" of yours that you heard, wrote them down, published them as a study, you would all of a sudden not believe them? What?

You're literally sampling a population by listening to the opinions of your local neighbours. That is one of many ways of collecting data for such a study.

I believe that the margin of error given for a population study is accurate. However, I'm starting to think that you do not even understand what that sentence means or at least how that margin of error is calculated.

So you believe polls is what you are saying?

    Good for you!

I personally make my own mind up without taking them into account.

Perhaps I am one of the disregarded variables? Who knows!

Yes, we all know that, and we all know what type of person that makes you, don't worry.

Oh I'd love to tell you, but I came to my conclusion using the data of your posts so far to come to what is a very obvious conclusion. But you'd probably disregard it as I used "statistics" and "logic" and such, so don't worry about it.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry

    What's wrong with the statement?

Your analysis is based completely on anecdotal experience. Based on your experience, Trump would still be president.

I will gladly answer that question once you go back and address the points I made in my last long post rather ignoring them.

Hmmmm you also have two posters who just registered today but haven't made any posts thanking all of your posts. How... fascinating.

I think you'll find it was you who deflected first by not addressing the points in my post. So, I recommend you instead stand by your convictions first.

    Aristotle,

You said "Yes, we all know that, and we all know what type of person that makes you"

I am simply asking you to tell me what type of person I am?

You made the assertion based on "data".....

So instead of deflecting once I asked the question... of a decision you had made... just state it!

Can you not even stand by your own decision and opinion?

You're pretty biased and were only two days ago making posts like the below. And only weeks prior to the election you were saying Trump would absolutely win. I assume you based that conclusion on polling of your neighbors.

OK, how about the State of the Union address?

Something not quite right with the lack of camera time by Joe.

Not a Trumpeteer, but Joe is simply not a good man to put in front of the nation.

Yes I most certainly can. But it seems you can't as you are again trying to deflect from replying to the points I made, points that were made before my statement that you quoted.

It's quite simple, stand by your own opinions and respond to the points that I made first, and then I will gladly stand by mine afterwards once it's my turn.

I'd hazard a guess at it being a Trumpist, Trumpet, Far Right Supremacist, Racist, Bigot, Nazi, or what ever else is the current villain of the week.

Close, but none of those. But thank you for your input, you forgot to post a link to a tweet where Biden was walking slightly slower than a 23 year old or something.

So deflect, claim I am marking my posts liked? And infer I am something, but don't have the balls to follow through with your opinion?

Still waiting as to why type of person I am.....

I would say it's great to see policy being discussed and the positives and negatives associated with it. There is differences to GOP and DNC policies in general with how the economies run, GOP used to favour deregulation and smaller government, DNC would go bigger and regulate. The previous administration didn't really follow any policies, and was kind of all over the place, massive deficit, massive government, a return to the 80's "appearance is everything" style of doing things, and shout down any dissenters. It all kind of blew up with massive protests, losing power in all 3 branches, and a massive deficit (before virus) and then all got compounded by an awful response to the virus anyway. McConnell seemed to be the only one doing any work.

No I did not say that. I believe that are more likely to be reregs spam thanking posts. Not ruling out what you said either of course.

Oh I most certainly have the balls don't worry, and I will gladly tell you once it's my turn. If you're really interested in knowing I would recommend that you stop deflecting from addressing the points I made. As I said, I will gladly respond after.

You were the type of person who was pearl clutching at Biden's lack of TV appearances, whether you intended to be perceived that way or not. The fact that your previous posts were supporting the other side (who went to ground when anything difficult happened and probably wasn't commented on by you) doesn't help.

Maybe that doesn't represent you though, and it was unfortunate that you posted as such, before turning to a more reasoned style of debating.

Dude, I've told that I will answer that question once you've addressed my points, which is something that you should have done first. I've told you that about six or seven times now, and yet you have decided not to address my points every time. You are the one who clearly cannot stand by their convictions.

I look forward to your next post where you once again avoid addressing my points and thereby again avoid receiving my answer.

It's OK.. "DUDE" i think your responses show everyone in here what you are about, you have obviously shown yourself to be the person you are.....

    Have a nice day!

Ah yes another poster who, instead of continuing on with a debate, ignore the points made and then disappears when asked to address them.

Are you implying that it's possible for me to be good tennis player while having a stutter?

Weird, because you don't seem to think that about other professions.

Young man based on your last few posts you are the only angry individual here.

Young man? Who are you? One of Harry Enfield's dirty old lady characters? Lol

If you don't find what Trump was about for 4 years, what he did while president, the corruption, the laziness, the cruelty, the lying, the lining of his own pockets, the narcissism, the willingness to employ the very worst of people and the bullying infuriating and disgusting, then simply put, you're not the type of person i would bother debating with.
