Feels like longer this goes on with not much happening, more it may suit Izzy?

Not much in this at all but Jan edges that round for me.

Not that you'd know from listening to Rogan & DC

I'd have it a round apiece so far but it's a stinker.

Agree, they love Izzy a bit too much.

They said Izzy is outstriking Jan. I don't know what fight they are watching cause Jan is landing the better shots.

Their bias is ridiculous and overall the commentary is awful. A light heavyweight title fight and in the first round they're just bantering away. Always hard with no crowd but the commentators detracting from any sense of occasion.

Rogan saying Jan is being outstruck then a minute later Jon Anik says that jan has landed more significant strikes. Says it all.

Izzy is starting to look good

Despite the lads again going on about Jan being hurt, I think that was Jan's round again.

    Better shots and better grappling.

    2-1 Jan but who knows?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

    Jan tired looking poor fight

Have it 2-1 to Blachowicz. Though with the way the cards have been tonight the only one I'd predict with the judges would be the first round to Adesanya.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,529 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Izzy's right hand might be banjaxed. Didn't throw it once in the last three minutes of the round and was holding it the odd time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,056 ✭✭✭darced

Izzy is a bit b boring most of the time if I'm honest, 2-1 up anyway.

Izzy looking less confident in the corner than during the last round.

Rogan has picked Izzy’s side and that’s the end of it, regardless of what happens.

If you put together a supercut of all the "OOOHHHHHHHHH"s from tonight about 80% of the strikes were blocked. Meanwhile they'll be bantering when low-key shots actually stun.

It's like they expect an Izzy KO, so everything else in the fight is just a preamble to what they think will happen.

No point talking Jan up because he's not going to win

    Did not notice that

I'd have it 2-2 with Jan a strong favourite to win the last round and the fight.

    Judges do be dodgy, though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,361 ✭✭✭BrentMused

I could live with 3-1 Jan, 2-2 or maybe even 3-1 Izzy at a push.

Nailed on split decision if this goes to the scorecards.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,261 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

    Most clear round.

    This is 2-2 at least.

    I have it 3-1 Jan.

The judges could have it 7-0 to Sheffield Wednesday for all I know.

    I think 2-2

He has the road map to the win though

I'd say they'll have arsenal winning a title

I have it 3-1 to Blachowicz but the only rounds I'd trust the judges with are 1st for Adesanya and 4th for Blachowicz.

3-1 to Jan in my opinion. Might be 2-2 at a push but can't see Izzy ahead.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,361 ✭✭✭BrentMused

49-46 Jan for me but 48-47 at worst.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,004 ✭✭✭FileNotFound

    Jan has to have it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

Jan has done enough brilliant performance

    48-47 Jan for me.

Really not expecting much from these judges though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,056 ✭✭✭darced

Clearly Jan but I'd expect the judges to **** him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,261 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

    Jan takes it for me.

    48-47 at least

    49-46 for me

Why do I feel like the judges will have been on the DC/Rogan train and just giving Izzy the first three by default?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,652 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Sometimes you don't need to be flashy to get the won. Lots of underappreciated skill from Jan there, at least going by the commentators

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,004 ✭✭✭FileNotFound

Dana ****ting himself in the background

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

Commentary is so bad all night feels like DC smartened up in the last round.

    Jan 3-2 for me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,004 ✭✭✭FileNotFound

Holy crap, the judges woke up and even went a bit jan mad.

Well **** me the judges were spot on for the first time all night.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,529 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Common sense has prevailed, thank god.

Great performance from Jan, but I'm convinced Izzy has a broken hand since round 2 or 3.

2 49-45s wow. You wouldn't expect that going by the commentary.

  • Registered Users Posts: 116 ✭✭d00mk1n

Dana looks like he’s seen a ghost

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,361 ✭✭✭BrentMused

Rogan and co don't understand the scoring criteria at all.

You might be right. Izzy would have benefitted from larger octagon.

Pulled glove of just fine in interview

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,261 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

    Correct judging for a change.

Someone was talking about the "oooh"s during the rounds and that last round was a good example.

Jan landed 4-5 decent shots, nothing. 3:30 on the clock, Izzy lands and Joe's out with the "ooohhh!"

  • Moderators, Education Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators Posts: 35,117 Mod ✭✭✭✭AlmightyCushion

DC not understanding how they got a 49-45. It's fúcking easy. One 10-9 for Izzy. The rest of the rounds for Jan with one of them being a 10-8

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,361 ✭✭✭BrentMused

Could you imagine what Jon Jones would have done to Izzy.

Probably would have picked him up and dumped him over the octagon!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

Interview the loser first ? WOW

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,261 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

Joe was so convinced Izzy would win he's even giving him the post fight interview

    Anderson
Jan landed a big right in the last and there wasn't even a mention. Ridiculous bias
