Anyone know why it takes upto 2 days for money to transfer into Degiro? It's frustrating when you are trying to pick up some bargains... Looks like today is going to be a Green day - but missed out on some potential bargains on Friday trying to get funds into the account... :(

I transferred last Thursday morning (8:30am) and it was in my account the same day around 2pm (KBC...I guess it depends on what bank your with)

Same experience from KBC. Anything before 10 ish and it's get to you same day, usually in time for the US bell.

BOI is ****e, takes me 1.5-2 days. If you have an account with trading 212 they take debit card which is amazing but you would already need one they are not approving people at the moment. It looks like the three main brokers degiro, trading212 & IB our not approving anyone. Need someone else to come in and destroy these clowns. The US brokerages are 10 times better.

Less than 8 hours from an AIB account in my experience; have multiple transactions as recently as last week. Other banks are much slower with everything, even the order in which wages hit our accounts in work.

Just to confirm this, transferred yesterday evening and was there this morning

SEPA transferring from my N26 card is a matter of hours into Trading212, i find in general transfers from the N26 to be far faster than either my Revolut or KBC cards, no idea why that is.

0.7% fee with debit cards on t212 after your 1st few grand. I'm gonna start transfering my salary directly into revolut here from now on, definitely time to start ditching the ptsb account.

these brokers are doing this to protect the integrity of their platforms. They know they can't handle crazy volume of users so are limiting people accessing it until they have the infrastructure built to accomodate the volumes.

To me thats sensible. Stops outages and all the Robinhood type nonsense that the US brokerages have been doing around the Meme stocks.

Should have just done a market buy. Put in an order if it dipped and haven't been keeping an eye on it. Great gains. Is it still rising?

Yeah, that was a good tip. Lesson learned for me... keep cash to hand.

Can't complain today though, all green. Back to where I was before all the red days.

Momentum with Solarwinds now too, 5 green days and the earnings call out of the way. Still some choppy waters ahead but the investigation is showing more and more that Solarwinds itself was just one piece of the attack and are not solely responsible. That damn stupid password though. I thought that was going to hurt them today (maybe it is) but they're still in the green.

What's wrong with pharma sector recently. Everyting green today apart from GSK or Pfizer.

Name change, nothing more. It screws up your daily± figure, but usually comes right in a day or so. Actually out of interest, I assume the end of year Degiro report for CGT knows that this was nothing other than a name change, and it doesn't consider it a taxable capital gain?

It never ceases to amaze me by how overvalued zoom is, $125 billion market cap after today, can someone enlighten me, what am I missing with this one?

It's a video conferencing platform, Microsoft do largely the same thing, Google do largely the same thing, both of them will improve too.

Zoom rely on enterprise customers, I dont see how they can squeeze their margins given that enterprise customers could just ditch them and move to teams. I personally just don't see how they grow into that valuation.

My guess is they are hoping sales force are stupid enough to pay it. Worked for slack.

K4H is on IB. If you have gotten as far as being allowed to actually trade then it should pop up. I had to change settings to get that far though. Think I'd to go into accounts settings and enable some options. It also didn't work when I was on the work VPN and worked when I disconnected off that. Not at all easy to use. Makes Degiro seem user friendly which is quite the feat

Have a look through their website, they do far more than that now. You can move your whole office to Zoom and cut the Eir/Three bill. They'll be in internet soon. Think Eir/AT&T but available in every country on earth. It could be the worlds biggest telephony utility eventually

It’s not just zoom, there is a massive tech bubble right now. When it pops, and it will pop, things will not be pretty! Look at companies like Tesla, snowflake, microstrategy etc. All are massively overpriced!

The recent surge is enough for me to cash out, considering a potential probable drop after the annual report.
Just sold now at $2.65 for 35% profit.
Got in Corsair while on discount at $39.03.
Will update with next position, as currently waiting for a better entry point.
Got calls for Ericsson(ERICB)112SEK expiring 16 April. - This will only go up. CEO of biggest competitor from Nokia even admitted they are lagging behind Ericsson now. With Huawei ban in USA and EU, ERICB is going to keep going up long-term.
Short position on Dalata at 4.095. CEO gone today. Was going to wait for their earnings before entering short, but this even sped things up. Will close my position at 3.00 for 25% gain. This will only take a few weeks.
    Still long on CRSR.
