eh? He has been working non-stop for 4 decades, about to go into his 5th decade with rarely a break

    1980's - 14 movies
    1990's - 22 movies
    2000's - 16 movies
    2010's - 27 movies (wtf)

It seems like ever since he called out the Israelis' for some attacks on the West Bank, he's only been offered the likes of direct to Netflix type stuff, but he hasn't stopped working, far from it.
Aha, that is really shooting yourself in the foot in Hollywood. Still fairplay to him for speaking out and following his conscience.

Cusack was in love and mercy in 2014. I thought it was much later as only saw it a few years ago. He played Brian Wilson and played the role well.

He always comes across as some sound enough lad that you know

Eva Mendes hasnt been in a film since 2014.

Simply put, she's chosen to prioritize raising her young daughters over her acting career but she would return to acting "when there's something worthwhile to be a part of."

    OJ Simpson,

Had a decent run in the late 80s early 90s with naked gun series.

    Just seemed to disappear...

    Last film was 2004

For some reason Hollywood turned their back on him. Could've had a great movie career imo.

The Cell was the last film I saw him in, with Samuel L Jackson. Released in 2016 but was actually made 2 years earlier.
It's a wonder he isn't doing any TV work like everyone else.
He is, he was one of the main stars in the US remake of Utopia.

Last thing I saw John Cusack in was "Never Grow Old", great western film by an Irish director. Think a lot of it was shot in Galway.

He almost got the part of the Terminator. Cameron or somebody didn't believe he was credible as a killer.

He was very good in any films I saw him in, whatever happened that guy?

He just seemed to disappear after his initial promise in Home Alone 2.

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

    OJ Simpson,

to be fair, for a guy with no formal acting tuition..he wasn't too bad on screen

capricorn 1 being his finest imo

I actually think she's trying to get more work. Sure with the kind of stuff she's saying she won't get hired by Netflix or Disney anytime soon but you have to remember that there's a lot of people who would buy into what she's saying no matter how nuts.

1: Say crazy stuff on Social Media
    2: Get a rabid following
    3: ???
    4: Profit

How did it stack up against the original version?

He was good in the movie about Brian Wilson, Love And Mercy. That was about 5 years ago.

Have yet to actually watch that, assuming it's on the All4 app then I'll answer in a few months.

it's more showy and less subtle, stuff you have to figure out in the ch4 version are thrown in your face in the US version. Less acting and mystery and more shouting !

there's a great youtube video on it where he compares like for like moments

Not exactly a Hollywood star, but a high profile career imploded by stupidity, stand up Gina Carano.

It could backfire on Disney. The right might stay away.

It amazes me how stupid people can be when it comes to posting things on social media.

    Career over with one post.

Did she say anything actually harmful? Shouldn’t be illegal to have stupid views

She compared people being hated for their political view in the Us is like the persecutions of the Jews in Nazi Germany.
    Note: I am paraphrasing here

She's scarcely a martyr. She posted CoVid and US election conspiracies on Twitter in yet another failure for people to realise that social media is you, for the world to see. Talk about failing to read the room, the US is kinda twitchy about pro-insurrectionist BS ATM.

Most rational people wouldn't see much wrong with what she said.
It was a bit melodramatic but I fail to see how it was abhorrent or antisemitic.
Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views,”

There is nothing wrong with calling Trump a Nazi though or labelling all his supporters racist white supremacists.
Whats good for the goose isnt good for the gander.
