Does this mean President Biden must leave the White House?

Despite his dad assuring us that no one in his family would profit from his presidency...Apart from 2 million for this work of fiction, and his creepy brother Frank's law firm already advertising "connections in the White House to the Biden presidency.

That's the least of the problems they got over there when they are electing people like this
She walked back comments suggesting that school shootings - such as the 2012 attack at Sandy Hook elementary school and the 2018 Parkland shooting - were staged. "School shootings are absolutely real," Mrs Greene said on Thursday

She said she had "stopped believing" in QAnon - a conspiracy theory claiming that former President Donald Trump was waging a clandestine war on a Satan-worshipping cabal of child-abusers and cannibals - sometime in 2018 after finding "misinformation, lies and things that weren't true" in the group's posts

Its mental though, imagine you heard someone talking about school shootings being faked and Jewish space lasers starting forest fires, you'd run a mile, in the republican party that makes you a congressional candidate (and a successful one after you offer an apology for some of it)

Its mental everywhere though. Look at the UK's last election, Corbyn a complete marxist who's hobby is taking pictures of manhole covers and being anti-semitic on one side, and a mop headed idiot who's hobby is putting women in the club on the other.

Ursula von der leyen, who made a 24-carat balls of running the German military, having them running around in a Dads Army-esque style with broomsticks shouting BANG, in one of the biggest gun producing nations in the world. Then she gets the most important job in the EU

Some of the prize plonkers and cute-hoor's we have had here over the years, Haughey, living like the lord of the manor, with private island, yacht and massive mansion, when Irelands tyres weren't just a bit bald, they were down to the canvas .

Imagine believing that an island would tip over because there were too many people on one side of it and being in charge of budget oversight for the Navy?

Interrogating financial groups/banks on student loan debt in a congressional finance committee only to be told by the same people you're interrogating that the government runs those programs?

How about accusing a senator of trying to murder you and then lying about being in the building at the time?

These are democratic party member actions but it doesn't make me think all democrats are morons. Same applies to republicans. One or two idiots does not the whole party make.

People are voting these into office. Its a sign of the times, of revolt against the "institution" (the reason Trump got elected in the first place) and with members like AOC, omar, pressley, etc on one side and this woman plus the gun wearing one and an uptake in Vets there seems to be a push further left on the dems side and further right on the republican side.

IOW either this madness corrects itself in the next election cycle or two or in about 6 to 10 years America is going to look a whole lot different.

Backround story on how this woman ran the German Bundeswehr into a worse condition than the German armed forces were in May 1945 at their surrender.
    https://www.politico.eu/article/ursula-von-der-leyen-biography-career-inconvenient-truth/

Currently, what's happening, not very much it seems.
The investigation committee found Van Der Leyen did a bit of a Hillary Clinton in wiping her offical phones of all data that might be pertinent and of use to the investigation, and of the 41 summonsed witnesses 38 seem to be suffering a bad case of amnesia.
Ushi is now known as the Meryl Streep of German politics in this matter. Lots of long reflections and nothing of substance in the answer, apart from that it is all the fault of her predecessor in the sPDthat the Bundeswehr was in such a shocking condition.

The whole college thing is a joke in the western world. Too many parents want their offspring to have degree's, even though a lot of degree's are not worth the paper they are printed on. They end up in debt for something thats just not worth it.
I think that applies more to the US system that the rest of the western world. I don't know anyone who ended up in serious debt sending kids to school. Unlike the US were 6 figure costs are common.
Private colleges obviously exist in Ireland, but fees are typically lower, and the people that attend, typically can afford to.
Having worked in two colleges in Dublin, I seen first hand final year students doing engineering degree's who were really clueless. Maybe one in ten might make the grade in the outside world.
Of course they were clueless, they weren't even graduates.
There's no expectation that students of graduates are anywhere near the level of an guy with industrial experience. After 5 years in the field, that are starting to get it.

Same applies to trades. I've seen apprentices that can't be trusted to do much on their own. There are exceptions. But most wouldn't have a patch on a guy with 10 years experience.

They are both entitled to do so in a personal capacity. Just seems odd to criticise one but both the other for the exact same thing. Don Jr had made a nice career by profiting off daddy's name/business/presidency.

I strongly suspect that most people going are trolling. Like the flat earth supporters. They don't actually believe it. It's just a game to play online to wind up people who argue back with them. Applies to most conspiracy theories. Or they just want to believe so ignore facts and logic (have you seen the conspiracy theory forum).
But there does also appear to be a a subset of people who genuinely believe in those or similar. Obviously these people are not the full shilling. It's be funny, if it wasn't for the fact that there's no chance they'll get help when they need it.

They're out there alright, I met a guy last March that my mechanic recommended to do a specialist job for me. I got chatting to him and before I knew it he was explaining to me about the "scamdemic" and how it would go on for years, Trump was the messiah, draining the swamp and speaking to his followers in code, the two Obama's and a rake of other high profile people were all pedophiles and being held in an underground jail, Epstein's death was faked and he was giving them all up. Diana was still alive and well and had another few kids, all the countries have been given a load of gold (found under a building after 9-11) so there's no need for anyone to pay taxes anymore.

I really wanted to believe the last bit but alas Revenue.ie haven't gotten that particular memo yet.

That’s debt, not cost. And that’s a stagger amount of average debt.
The cost average is $35,000 per year. If $140k, average for a 4 year degree.
    Harvard is 200k-300k

It was published a few years ago. He got the deal as soon as Trump won in 2016.
I’m just highlighting the double standard. It’s very petty.

if being made the CEO of his dads business empire that he handed over the running of when he became president, you might have a case.
I’m not sure what you are trying to say here. Reads like half a sentence.
I was referring to being put “in charge” of major construction projects in NYC when he graduated with a degree in economics - a unrelated field with zero experience.
But you make a good point too. He was handed a nice Vice President title when Trump was elected. Eric too. Nice if you can get it. Of course neither was actually CEO/CFO that was some other guy handed control.
But for being a sordid little crack junkie and sexual pervert that gets strippers pregnant and is a money bag man for his old man from his Chinese and Russian paymasters...Maybe that's an honourable profession in some peoples eyes these days...
Sexual pervert? That could just easily really refer to a Trump or Hunter Biden. Although it’s mainly snr that’s been dodging court for sex crimes. Maybe Jr is smarter.
Secret meetings with the Russians, Don Jr...but that was adoption information wink wink.
Trying to bribe to Ukraine government officials. That was Trump.
The parallels are endless. It’s striking really.

I know you intend it to be the latter. Another double standard, shocking.

I was referring to something that happened out in the real world, in industry. I understand that rich kids will get to play project-lead with daddy’s money. It’s expected.
But don’t expect me to believe these graduates have a clue what they are doing.

That’s politics. A popularity contest and basically marketing.

I was referring to something that happened out in the real world, in industry. I understand that rich kids will get to play project-lead with daddy’s money. It’s expected.
But don’t expect me to believe these graduates have a clue what they are doing.

Hmmm, don't know about that, for the past few elections its been a struggle to find the "Least worst" candidate. I still push myself out to vote though, seeing as people strived on our behalf to get us the thing in the first place.

That’s debt, not cost. And that’s a stagger amount of average debt.
The cost average is $35,000 per year. If $140k, average for a 4 year degree.

Quantitative as well. Depends on whether you are studying in-state or out of state, whether it is a public uni or private college living at home or in digs.

    Harvard is 200k-300k
And if you happen to be in the about 50K worth of a student population of both universities of both grad and undergrads its out for the majority of American students those sums.

    I
t was published a few years ago. He got the deal as soon as Trump won in 2016.
I’m just highlighting the double standard. It’s very petty.

Title of it? Oh do you mean Triggered? The one where he signed the deal in MAY 2019?? Hardly "soon after" his dad became president. :P

I’m not sure what you are trying to say here. Reads like half a sentence.
I was referring to being put “in charge” of major construction projects in NYC when he graduated with a degree in economics - an unrelated field with zero experience.

You do realise that there are plenty of people in all fields that just have irrelevant degrees to their fields of work?. The US is full of it in all fields and businesses.
But you make a good point too. He was handed a nice Vice President title when Trump was elected. Eric too. Nice if you can get it. Of course neither was actually CEO/CFO that was some other guy handed control.

Yeah, pretty much a day to day life thing that people pass their business onto their children whether wasters or total geniuses.Know it from personal family experience:rolleyes:... Point being?
Sexual pervert? That could just easily really refer to a Trump or Hunter Biden. Although it’s mainly snr that’s been dodging court for sex crimes. Maybe Jr is smarter
    .

Trouble one is a known sexual pervert and .junkie..The other has been accused by a mentally unstable woman, who somehow took only like 20 odd years to come forward with rape claims in Maccys... 100% believable
Secret meetings with the Russians, Don Jr...but that was adoption information wink wink.
Trying to bribe to Ukraine government officials. That was Trump.
The parallels are endless. It’s striking really
    .

And both after 3 years of Democratic sham investigations and bawling amounted to a nothing burger...
And whose dad being the Vice president was threatning one country to withhold billions of aid if they didn't shift out and crush an investigation into his son's dodgy dealings in Burisma ..nudge,nudge.https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/436816-joe-bidens-2020-ukrainian-nightmare-a-closed-probe-is-revived

I know you intend it to be the latter. Another double standard, shocking
    .

    Public transport, what's that?

Our Post Office is also a shop/pub/off licence job. About two years ago at the end of the summer a yank strayed into the bar area from one of the local hotels and looking for a change of buzz enquired "Excuse me guys, what time is the next bus to Killarney?"

"June" was the answer, and that was for the next bus to anywhere.

To be fair its not the comments that Grizz is addressing, it's the attitudes of a party to silence their opposition and the hypocrisy of that same group who preached reconciliation and unity but were quick to turn back on their word. These comments and plans should be concerning, whether or not you agree with Trump, as its a very slippery slope to tyranny when you turn a blind eye to censorship. First they came for the Trump supporters..... Ye all know how that ended, and isn't something we can afford.

I remember Trump being best buds with the Clintons, like peas in a pod they were. Then all of a sudden, when he decided to run for pres, they decided he was a deplorable.

Sure. But "least unpopular" is still a bizarre popularity contest.

I quoted the average. 4 Times higher than the one claimed.
The above factors will affect an individual sits in relation to the average. THat's a given.

He announced the book in May. It was published later that year.
Work on the book, as well as the deal would have started prior to that.

And the time is really irrelevant. You were complaining that Hunter is profiting from Biden's presidency. How is that any different from Don Jr's book, that you pretended you didn't know about? Rhetorical question I suppose.

Come on, there's not just one. He's had dozen of accusers going back to the 80s. Some settled out of court.
I highly doubt you'd extend Hunter or Biden benefit of doubt. Well, we know you don't.

Trump Jr admits the secret meeting happened. There's no question of that.

Didn't Trump legally without hold aid from Ukraine.

...as its a very slippery slope to tyranny when you turn a blind eye to censorship.
I've commented on the censorship issue a few times. My view is unchanged.
Nobody should be ok with blanket censorship, especially from a government or governing body. I also don't think it should be acceptable for an elected official, least of all the head of state, to blatantly lie to the public. The government should be held to a higher standard that individuals for obvious reasons.

It's possible to support personal free speech while also expecting elected officials are held to certain standards while representing public office.
Imagine the government mislead the people and lied all the time, North Korea style, and just played it off with "LOL, free speech guys". That's also a slippery slope to tyranny.

I did but perhaps I made a poor choice of words. What I meant to say was that I'm fairly sure Grizz isn't complaining about they insults or comments, rather the hypocritical attitudes of the Democrats and their supporters. If you can't see this, then the question that should be asked is whether "you read the post" or not.
