Vettel getting very aerodynamic like myself.

Well, Seb was known for immersing himself in the culture at Ferrari, learning Italian etc. Clearly, driving for Aston Martin, he thought it would best to be properly British by taking on the guise of Prince William!!

Sad news - while his F1 efforts where more to do with his financial backers he was a very successful team owner and manager. A young man at 60 in today's terms - Adrian RIP

Really sad news this, he helped a lot of drivers through the years. RIP.

As a Championship contender, definitely. However I reckon he still has at least one more race win in him.

Ah yeah but under the right set of circumstances, they all have a win in them. Gasley and Perez won last year through massive luck. Gasley drove a very good season and that would be true whether he won a race or not.

They both won the race and that’s on their record, but it a pretty misleading stat and doesn’t actually tell you anything about them that you wouldn’t learn from looking at their form from the season.

It tells you that they can handle pressure and do not choke , it tells you they are winners and capable of doing it again given favorable circumstances but probably need some luck also. Hopefully the Mercs will suffer by the compulsory aerodynamic reduction calculation in 2021 and wont be all dominant. Most people are sick of watching them walk away from the field. Russell would be a very cheap replacement for Bothas . That would shake things up a bit. But sadly none of that will happen in all honesty

So have any of you been or are watching anything F1 related during the off-season? I watched the '87 and '89 season reviews so far on YouTube.

Hopefully it's only mild symptoms and he makes a full recovery.

Just finished off Drive to survive season 2. That williams episode is amazing, the body language at the test with Paddy Lowe is so cringeworthy.

Other than that, been watching some mid 00's season reviews. I really gotta catch up with the 10's. I find myself thinking that 2007 was 'just a few years ago'

It turns my stomach watching say 2007 and realising it was 14 years ago. Like 14 years before that was '93. Also the last 10 years have been a bit of a blur tbh.
The actually good 2010 and 2012 seasons kinda disappear into the blur of over a decade. Even at that, 2012 was almost a decade ago, depressing.

Yep its mad alright. Where does the time go? We must all be getting old.
I can still remember hearing about Honda pulling out in 2008 the shock, Jenson talking about it been a shock too and then Ross Brawn announcing he would run the team as Brawn F1 with Mercedes engines. What a year 2009 was. The Hungary and Massa getting hit by the spring.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

I was glued to F1 for 2012, Alonso was magic that year.

I think four teams (Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, McLaren) will battle for third in the constructors championship this year. Does anyone agree?

Why not Aston Martin for 2nd?

Because I feel Red Bull will have the better car.
