But what if the birth mothers don’t want to be found?

Some don’t, I traced mine. It didn’t go well, rejection once is bad, try it a 2nd time.

For a small country we have a lot of awful state and church scandals

    Watching the last leg here.
I assume Ryan Tubridy is probably trying to depress people as usual on a Friday night.

    +1 for the last leg.

    Done with rte in general

    A cult obsessed with money.

The Catholic Church I mean not RTE

I agree with above - would be better off showing Delores for God sake.

    And what if they do?

    That’s the point, a choice.

    As is the case sometimes.

    These aren’t always happy reunions

    Exactly..

And is there some legal aspect around it all, that they may have the right not to be found?

Though I wouldn’t expect Tubridy to know or broach this..

The vaccine trials are not far off what the Nazi's were doing.

Middle of a pandemic , as reported by RTE's super bold headline "Ireland highest covid rates in the world " early week. Rte wizards decide lets finish the week with some more misery the poor punters cant get enough if it. Fook me I only watch it to follow this thread as i get a good laugh out of it usually.

This Lyra artist is being promoted a lot.

    Now she's not bad.

    A mumbly performance.
Don't like this. Her new year performance was amazing though.

This night 3 years ago I was at Shane MacGowan's 60th in Dublin. The News about Dolores had came through. I kinda remember someone doing a tribute to her onstage.

I think we should just do it like jurassic park and just use tranquilliser guns filled with the vaccine

And the thing is, it will just roll on the next one and the next one meanwhile rte will play the angelus, call ye to prayer whilst 90% of our crooks remain under stewardship of the church and we hand new hospitals over th them.

Well then there must be some legal mechanisms in place..

Were these people being illegally denied a right to find the women who gave birth?

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,823 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

Another thing lately - they announce these artists coming on as if they are a big thing ?

Come on - you need to do a bit more like a show in UK - Jules Holland / Norton.

There is a bit more to making it then singing a few times in Ireland ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,717 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

    Bad Wolves done it better

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,791 ✭✭✭✭mfceiling

Again that stupid way of singing and the complete and utter non pronunciation of the words.

Is the singer black, by any chance?

I was thinking of someone else

We've been talking about it all week. Friday night entertainment should be that.

No. It would be completely remiss for it not to feature on this chat show. Friday night entertainment lite is available elsewhere or on a streaming platform for your viewing pleasure.

This is just an extension of the news now really no entertainment element at all tall. Should be renamed The Late Late News Show.

99% of the time it's been like that since day dot
