Yeah found that as well. The quesadillas were different. Much better by sallys. You'd get a half quesadilla and taco cheaps in a deal. Stinking of garlic for hours after. So good.

Is this going in the location of the former Shannon Dry Cleaners site?

They've opened a hotel in Cork in the last few months (also called The Dean) with the primary selling point being their (over priced) rooftop bar / restaurant.

It's a shame photographers can't put invisible identification marks on their work, so then they'd know where a pic was taken and when!

FYI, that's eggs florentine, cos its got spinach. Benedict needs ham.

That could be a stock/commissioned pic. People often ask food photographers to do them up. Someone obviously missed the Florentine/Benedict faux pas but bet that didn't come from a chef.

A reverse image search only shows up the The Dean pages for Cork and Galway.

Indeed, but there are also premises in lockdown now whose owners are debating whether they will re-open. Therefore the true effects of the pandemic might not be fully recognized yet.

Most/All of the Arcadia outlets in Galway closed last year or the year before.

Debenhams closed last march and will never reopen, even the website closed to Irish customers.

So the buyouts should not make much future difference to Galway.

This is the heart of it really. They have in most cases just purchased the brand names and web presence not the bricks and mortar premises.
