We are going to see carnage over the next few weeks.
The amount of people shopping in Dublin City centre and other cities in the weeks before Christmas are the catalyst for this.

The Hospitals won't cope with these figures. On top of other impatient cases were ****ed. There'll be a lot more deaths unfortunately.

It's still OK for now and they are moving on their surge plan including private hospitals.

Luas was packed with people

. That had to be a huge thing, there was no way to stay 1m away from people, let alone 2. I feel especially bad for the people who had to take it in for work and school and had people in for shopping on top of them

I cycle home by the luas line and when I am stopped at red lights (don't at me) I look for people on the luas without masks, there are always a few

There was nowhere near the amount of testing in March. But it's still scary. Will be doing my grocery shopping in a 24 hour store until further notice.

I agree - we just dont learn from our mistakes.

Remember all the messing around and delays with cancelling Paddys day parade etc.?

Schools and construction should remain shut until 1 Feb at the earliest.

Not much else we can do now - just stay home and ride it out.

I actualy didnt get this. Op is affraid to order and by your logic ( I mean you and the other guy), that means he wants them to go out of business? I prefer dominos but not 4 star, chinese but not indian, but that doesnt mean that i want indian takeaways and 4star to shut forever

I know someone who moved out of their home, as they're a frontline worker. They haven't seen their son in nearly a year...
