Any update on the 3 other city players isolating?

Heard the following, Positive cases at Man City include Ederson, Jesus, Cancelo Torres & Walker.

There are positive cases at Arsenal too, in Gabriel and David Luiz & William are unavailable because they showed symptoms.

Now at Spurs, Vinicius & Lucas Moura are also unavailable for an undisclosed matter.

Maybe the online rumours that there was a large Christmas party between a group of footballers of a certain nationality, and their friends, is true.

    Tasty result for Utd
Bruno the best player on the planet currently
Even tastier he scored the peno to win it

He's a magnificent player. Has totally transformed United going forward. I am not sure of the best player on the planet right now, but it is hard to think of a player that has has such a positive effect on a top team.

If all players on both sides are fit I would say yes Liverpool are a better side but currently, I would say the UTD starting 11 tonight is better than the Liverpool starting 11 v Newcastle.

    That's hillarius tbf

I'm going off current form in the last 12 months.
I'd be eager to know who is better than him. Genuine question

Not a major one after no positive cases during the week.

Burnley v Fulham is the main doubt this week

He's ridiculous. Taking away the aura of Messi/Ronaldo of who's the best right now he's certainly up there.

KDB/Bruno/Salah for me are battling it from who I see regulary. Can't really account for Mbappe and co.

Bruno seems to deliver every week. I've think I've seen him have 2 bad games over the course of multiple weeks ( Of course I captained in Fantasy Football those weeks)

A top team? They're in the Europa League after exiting the CL less than a month ago, he didn't have much of a positive effect at that level.

They've had a good December against Villa, Leeds, Sheffield United etc. to take over from...I can't think was it Chelsea or Spurs that were the last "genuine title challengers to Liverpool"?

But they still have Solskjaer in charge. It's hard to see any team, even one that cost 700 million (and so SHOULD be beating the Villas, Leeds and Sheffield Uniteds) maintaining a title challenge with that burden...

Lewandowski is having another good season after winning the champions League, league and cup this year.

    100% agree.
Won everything in 2020 and is still breaking records this season.

They are Man Utd. They are a top team. AC Milan are only coming back to some type of form and leading Serie A after 10 years of producing dross and kicking about in the Europa League. Doesn't matter. They are still among the elites because of their size and history.

I don't really rate Ole and I don't think Utd have enough to win the league. Liverpool are still the best team in the league. But I stand by what I said. Utd are absolutely among the big names in football and Fernandes is one of the best players out there right now.

    Tribalism is fun.

We all know the rules. Players have to go down to get a penalty. That's shít, but it's 100% true. Sure, us Liverpool fans wanted Mané to throw himself to the ground against Newcastle.

If proper fouls don't get given because you stay on your feet, despite being disadvantaged by the contact, then why would you stay on your feet? Of course you should go down. In fact, football culture dictates you go down. And if that's the culture, you're accepting that 'soft ones' will happen.

What i find funny is that we can't just admit this is the case. We pretend that our team only ever gets 100% legitimate, indisputable penalties, and that our players are all honest, and that it's rival teams who have the cheats.

No, he's not heavily fouled and certainly was not tonight. Opponents merely breathing in his proximity seems just cause for him to collapse to the floor and writhe around in apparent agony. He looks, behaves and plays like a complete tosser and needs a stronger manager to get him to pull up his socks - literally and metaphorically.

Fernandes will get all the plaudits but Grealish was the best player on the pitch. United resorted to fouling him at every opportunity for the last 20 mins, they couldnt live with him. Watch him closely every week gets fouled constantly and no not there phantom fouls like you describe.

I didn’t really think Fernandes deserved that many plaudits last night. Had a really quiet game and didn’t impact the game that much other than the peno that he didn’t win himself.

Thought Pogba was United’s star man by a distance last night.

Fernandes is a wonderful player, no doubt about it. But the best on the planet? I’m wondering if the poster genuinely forgot about Lewondowski?

But outside of Lewondowski, he’s probably not far away. But I’d still rather have Salah ahead of him.

Hold on, are people seriously making the argument that Bruno is the best player on the planet? That’s insanity. He isn’t close.

Yes. They are. His numbers are elite, and he's transformed Utd.

I don't think he's in the conversation for best in the world, but I can see why a fan of Utd would argue it.

Ok we literally agree. Because I also agree with the first 2 things you said. His numbers are elite and he has transformed United. Both absolutely true.

And for what it's worth, Grealish, for one, is better.

    Burnley V Fulham off tomorrow.

If this happens regularly through Jan, there could be some fixture pileup with no room to expand the season cos of the euros.

Is there a contingency plan in place if there's mass cancelations?

Not sure if anything was agreed by clubs which is pretty ludicrous.

Fulham v Spurs was called off as well so should the City game with Chelsea not be the same and be called as well?

Grealish was MOTM for me personally, best United player last night was imo a toss up between Pogba and Bailly. Bruno was quiet, penalty aside.

I haven’t heard anything. Maybe they don’t want to say what those plans are until they absolutely have to.

The only thing is that you could fit in that game on a Wednesday during a Europe week. Cancellations with teams involved in Europe are where the real difficulties will be I think.

We absolutely agree. And with all that said, if united continue to challenge, Bruno will be a worthy winner of the player of the year award.

It’s historically been a very narrative driven award and there aren’t too many more impressive narratives than United’s revival since he came in.

But I’d stand by the opinion, that I don’t watch him and think he is one of those guys you pay the entry fee to watch.

A constant fixture in my fantasy football team and hugely important to his team but not a generational talent. At least not yet.

Hes a really really good player but the amount G Nev over hypes is mental

He said he saved them last night he scored a peno, he also said his assist saved them against Wolves, he passed a ball to Rashford that Rashford made into a goal with the help of a deflection, Theres a difference between creating a goal with a assist and passing to someone who then goes on to score

But he is a fabulous player

    He's brilliant isn't he?

Probably my favourite player to watch at the moment. Had a United fan tell me Fred controlled him. Not sure what game they were watching
