They say humans have it as an instinct, it's the reason why we for the head or neck in a fight.

I was reading a very interesting story recently about a young Mafia member in Philadelphia during the 80s, Salvatore ' Salvie' Testa, known as the 'Mafia Prince' in the media.

His father Phil ' Chicken Man' Testa was the boss of the Philadelphia Family and his murder was immortised in the Bruce Springsteen song 'Atlantic City'.

Salvie found the men who killed his dad and tortured them for three days. Setting fireworks up their arse, peeling back their fingernails, systematically removing their eye balls with a tea spoon.

He'd no remorse for his actions. He made a comment a year later stating that he wished he could dig them up and kill them again.

Salvie met his end not too long after. He was double crossed by his fathers Underboss, Nicodemo Scarfo. Shot in the the head and dumped in a ditch along the road from Philly to Atlantic City. 28 years old.

Oh Jayziz got up earlier because I couldn't sleep and after reading that probably won't sleep for a week. I could murder you!

    Immunity.

(From prosecution/retribution. Nothing to do with Covid. I'll be doing my best not to risk killing anyone with that.)

Reading up about Salvie is tragic. He was glued to his father from knee high, the Chicken man had him in their social clubs from the time he could walk and talk. He was groomed to be a mobster.

He saw horrible things as a child.

    Someone messing with my kids

    Yep, that would do it.
Someone who broke into the house and coming up the stairs. I've a claw hammer at the side of the bed to explain the big mistake they made to them personally.

You can legally use force against a burglar, within reason. You can't chase them as they try to escape but certainly stopping them from coming out in or trying to force them out, protecting your family etc.

Someone ‘messing’ with any kids if I had the right opportunity.

I think everybody has the capacity to take another persons life, I would imagine it wouldbe down to circumstance and desperation. Human's has a species have a tendency to destroy life, look at all the wars and genocides throughout history.

It's not so easy kill things, but then sometimes they die for the simplest reasons.
Torturing is a completely different matter, Ithat I think one would need a damaged or altered mindset to carry out.

That's one of the best things about not having left the house since February, no inflicted hate crimes against my ears.

It is illegal to have something on standby as a weapon. You need something you can easily explain. In my case a Kukri since I collect knives.:pac:

I'd take salvies ending to that of his victims any day of the week, but to answer the question asked in the op, as already stated - mess with my kids or wife and that would probably do it for me. They're off limits.

"Well your honour, I'd been hanging up some picture frames the evening before and hadn't the chance to put the tools away before I went to bed"

Different story if you chase him up the road and bludgeon him with a claw hammer then.

Salvie's death doesn't sound like a great loss to the human race. Sick fecker. These types live by the sword and then they are surprised when they die by the sword.

I got an early gift of a Oneida Kestral Bow recently. Wonder how easy that would be to explain if I ever got questioned on it.

I’ve a few bodies under the belt meself, it’s gotten to the stage now where I don’t even bury them anymore, just leave them where they fall.

Must be awful to be so afraid, all the time, that you’d need a claw hammer beside your bed while you sleep.

Is this one of those moments in life for a boardsie where the OP got hilariously drunk and will wake up this morning thinking "what was I posting on boards last night, OMG!?" :D

I've had a short bat in the weardrobe for years, never used it, never even had to think about it, its just there in case of worst case scenario. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Three things that cause people to kill -

    1. Blind rage.

    2. Extreme fear - usually for yours or someone else’s life.

    3. Revenge.

You forgot the most obvious one.

Self defence. I think any human, no matter their outlook on life, would kill to preserve their, or their families, life.
