You do realise that living in a completely sanitary bubble and constantly using hand sanitizer and disinfecting things is bad for us? We need to be exposed to a certain level of bacteria or viruses or we'll catch everything going. Wash your hands regularly and before eating and you'll be grand.

Thanks I do know that . Sanitizing my hands if I go through an airport is hardly classed as constantly .Nor could be clased as living in a sanitary bubble

This probably includes some backlog - I don't think it was fully cleared yesterday? So, we don't know whether today's numbers are good or bad without knowing today's swabs

Does anyone know what's happening with the Christmas sales this year? They can't have people queuing and gathering at 6am on St. Stephen's Day. Hopefully this year shop workers get a break at Christmas.

The sales were always just a way to escape the confines of the house for many.

Never took part myself ever, and never will. A bargain is only a bargain if you need it, not want it. IMO.

    Boring old sod me. :P

Nice to see a continuing dip in 7 day and 14 day rates.

Hoolahoop will be ecstatic for the next lockdown after Christmas.

But hopefully that won't be needed.

Why would northern reg cars drive down here for shopping? It'd be the other way around surely?

NI is currently on a circuit breaker. Everything is shut.

Next Friday or Saturday is when we'll start to get a true picture of how level 3 is working.

    Nothing new in the world.
A UK public health campaign from 1918 about preventing the spread of spanish flu.
    Looks very familiar.
5 minutes long and has been colourized, and silent btw.

You can wear a seatbelt, drive perfectly, and still have an idiot drive into you.
They're not an idiot. You're just jealous of their nice car.

You’re welcome. Apologies if I got a bit technical there at one point, it comes with the role.

Well he took no precautions, encouraged others toward ignorance and complacency, hard to feel sorry for him, video going around of him on Wednesday at Michigan election hearing asking a witness a few feat away from him to take her mask off so he could hear her better. He likely had COVID at this point and was not only going around maskless indoors himself but also encouraging others to do so, pretty enraging. Quite the arsehole really.

IQ level must be high to be so reckless. But he will get the best treatment unlike average American who may be piling up more debt if the insurance doesnt cover it or no insurance. But that's not an issue, issue is not able to exercise freedom due to mandatory policies to wear masks in stores.
