Since when 2009 Audi Avant can't be sold due to 570 euro tax???

It is to cheap imo. Probably other issues with it rather than the tax, no?

Edit : I see it is 1200 not 570. That changes everything.

NCT extension so that car has zero to offer now sadly. The seller could at least try to take few more photos, though.

No tax on it, although seller claims it's "In evey day use". It needing a timing belt, and not having being NCT'd for at least 12 months means that there's probably a cartfull of issues with it!

So before you can drive it, you'd need to spend close to €3k on it for the car, tax, and timing belt, and then there's the NCT. And lack of photos probably means more issues.

What is it with cheap cars that drives nutters out of the woodwork?

Every single one of them literally opens with a "whats your last price" type message, which is frustrating for two reasons.

1, i've written in the ad that i will not be negotiating until someone has viewed the car, no text negotiations.

2, their locations are like Galway, Cork etc and i'm in Wicklow, no way will they make that trip for my bangernomics yoke, even if i say work away to their riddiculously **** "last price".

Only had one Irish person with a profile that looked like a genuine enquiry. Set up a time, date, location, a few good questions and no premature haggling. Then she never showed.

Nice looking car. Always wonder why sellers don't move to a dry bit of ground when taking the pics. First view doesn't do anything for the car but I guess too far back for a leaky rad. Just my tuppence worth. A few good pics can sell a decent car easily & cost no more than a bad pic.

They must be the last remaining desirable Opel/Vauxhall of any kind.
They had a nice presence back in the day, effortlessly shared the stage with the Volvo's, Camry's, Maxima's etc

Maybe. As with any of these cars go along have a drive and a good look and that will tell a lot. Ideally get down and dirty underneath (you should but a lot of people don't). Its the ones with suds still on them or a trail of post wash water I'd be inclined to be more weary off for some reason.
