I'm kind over it now to be honest. I find it easier to let things go that my OH, she still wants to complain, mainly to stop him doing it to some poor other suckers, which I can understand.
I'll probably have to be the one who makes the call though

Ya, I live in the country. A good bit from Argos or Smyth’s. Last week lots of people went to them because they knew if they didn’t they wouldn’t get another chance and that delivery would be tricky.0 -

It sounds like a rookie mistake, I would suggest letting the courier company know that they need to remind their drivers to show discretion when delivering at this time of year.
I once found a whole heap of lego in the boot of the car that Santa had sneakily got from Smyths. I don't know what I was doing but I managed to let the seat fall forward and saw right into the boot. My poor mam was driving around a roundabout at the time and observed me in the rear view mirror. She came up with some story about it being for someone's birthday. I of course believed every word 0 -

Picked up a Yankee Candle in my local Hickeys Pharmacy 17.99 nicely wrapped with a bow, it is definitely the earliest I have seen Yankees gift wrapped in the pharmacy, usually I am ready to snap them up on special but they don't be wrapped I usually get the bow off the girls in December after wrapping my own

It wasn't planned just worked out that way....ended up with a fabulous monster of a tree that was way too big for the room, but I loved it...everyone else complained , but they didn't live there , so no say
Then the baby arrived and the tree lost , by a small margin a small b&q one for 20 quid I think replaced it....not bitter....not at all 0 -
