Nolan did hint at a possible stabilising of cases in Dublin, but as usual a bit "too soon" to tell.

How many ICU qualified nurses do we have at our disposal?

We. Do. Not. Have. The. Capacity. Or. Resources. To. Deal. With. The. Numbers.

Very debatable that we have the worst health service in the entirety of Europe, to justify already having the harshest lockdown and some people wanting the further nuclear level 5 option.

But it's that the sole reason people can give, why aren't people screaming for major money spent on immediate increase in capacity, similar to what we did in March? The money saved on PUP from level 5, a fraction of that would increase capacity very soon. Surely that's what people should be asking for, rather than the job losses and human misery that would come from a second lockdown.

Hospitals need to be segregated to Covid and non covid.

THey are. They have covid and non covid A&E along with covid wards.

Hospitals need to be segregated to Covid and non covid.

Not as black and white as that though. If someone has a heart attack say and covid suspected and they have to go to specific hospital further away could seriously diminish their outcome.

Halloween...place your wheelie bin at the end of your driveway loaded with sweets, hope the kids have an honour system and don't take the lot in a single go.

More Level 5! It should limit the opportunities for spreading it and it should decline. It's March all over again.

    Austerity and a 30billion deficit.

SF PBP SDs etc will tell us there is no need for any cuts.

The plan of the anti restrictions is to just not to deal with it at all and pretend its not there.

No the plan of the "anti restrictions" (which just so happens to be the whole of Europe, to which Ireland is the outlier) is to understand the paradox which you dont.

We have suffered one of the worst job losses in Europe which you ignore, and some are pleading for more while not understanding the consequences.

The only fix for our health service is funding to right area's.

Austerity will not correlate to the funding required to fix the health service, so the restrictions are a paradox for Ireland and ironically are going to make a healthcare system problem much worse.

Well how would you know, they haven't gave median ages of deaths now for the last month and a half.

88 was the recent leak at the Oireachtas meeting a few weeks ago
