They dont have Larry Goodfella to protect them

Is that some lobbyist/big man in the food supply industry? Surely the vitners have somebody along those lines whispering into the ears of the government?

Would be great to read some investigative journalism on what's going on there with the food processing plants, but I think that kind of journalism isn't in favour anymore.

Hopefully Glynn shoots a bit more from the hip instead of going back to being nice to everyone.

Referring to people as idiots and gob****es would be sufficient.

GLOBAL DEATH TOLL HEADING FOR ONE MILLION!!!!

No context at all provided by giving the global population of 7,800,000,000.

Trying to terrorise people. Utterly shameful.

My calculator won't even give me how small a percentage that is.

They were then out interviewing people in Bray and some auld wan says: I saw young people go into a house.

    That was it.

Christ sake, it's a simple factual statement. Seems like it may be just yourself getting upset about it.

I suppose 500 new cases a day would be the new benchmark of us having a problem.

There's a few that don't make sense. Even yesterday Donnelly talking up the chances of wicklow going to level 3. Wicklows 14 day incidence reduced in the last week and is below national average

It is not just about the raw numbers I suspect. It is how they breakdown, high numbers all linked to a contained cluster is not as worrying as small numbers that are linked to multiple clusters of possible community spread.

    209 new cases in Dublin.

    Cork 27
    Donegal 22
    Galway 21
    Kildare 14
    Monaghan 14
    Roscommon 7
    Tipperary 7
    Waterford 7
    Wexford 7
    Limerick 6
    Longford 6
Laois, Meath, Offaly, Sligo - 5 each.

5 for Sligo is probably the highest in a long time, I'm there at the moment and the place is swarming with northerners.

Like I said, I doubt it's making many people scared, apart from yourself fearing about people's fears.

They really are utterly shameful that crowd on Virgin media tv. I heard of a very troubling figure number of suicides in the country last month.

Yet virgin media don’t see that and continue to scare the bejaysus out of the country with Richard Chambers doing his “George Lee” impersonation” there.

Jesus 209 for dublin. Hopefully the measures put in place there will start to bring the numbers down within the next week. I see the other counties are back in the 20’s which is better than where they were last week.

70 cases associated with pubs/restaurants out of 350 or so in Cork in the last few weeks

If a contact of a contact has tested positive for COVID, what's the craic? Lets say a teacher has a child whose mother went for a test on Friday and it came back positive today. The child is now self isolating until a test, but does the teacher have to?
