Is there any records of the deaths from September, the mean age, did they go to hospital. Its important to know how deadly this diseases actually is.

We had 1200 more deaths between March and June than the average for that time in previous years, so your few hundred garbage doesn't add up. Where are you getting these figures?

Didn't someone post figures that we had a few thousand less from July on, not sure how accurate they are.

We are told the age of someone who dies in a car crash/ a house fire yet the age of someone who dies attributed to Covid seems to be a secret.

I don't know why it all has to get personal, we can have opposing ideas without the need for the hostilities

The full figures weren’t in for July when the numbers were posted. There’s a lag of a full 3 months, RIP numbers are not official numbers.

Aside from the statistics that are freely available to the public? Also why does their age matter? Are the elderly not entitled to live

Prehaps you don't mean to come across as a WUM but posts such as the below does you no favours.

It's the wrong way to look at it. You should count deaths by a time frame and not just singular days. Deaths happen around 6-10 weeks of having covid so 300 cases today doesn't mean there will be 6 deaths today. Look at Spain, 400 deaths, this virus hasn't weakened.

Every single day you come on here and banshee wail about the days numbers and now your asking people to look at the bigger picture? Bit rich.....

Did they go to hospital though, do the elderly not deserve to go to hospital like the rest of us.

I honestly don't see what's the problem with that post?

Why does the age of a car crash victim matter, a house fire victim matter yet we are told the age regardless.
Yet the age of those who pass due to the current pandemic is not worthy of note . Strange tbh.
As for the last part of your comment, unworthy of a response.

They are, but the country has to live as well. 15% unemployment, soon to explode, is diabolical.

Not if all the businesses are gone and there's no magic money left.

Right go to every retirement and care home in the country and tell the residents you don't care they die so long as you get to live a comfortable lifestyle. You hero

We have no idea how many people have died OF this virus. But considering it's 6% in the US, so that should give us an idea.

I never said I didn't care. I'm arguing that 15% unemployment, soon to explode, is not sustainable. Businesses going bust all over the place is not sustainable. A balance is required. Protect the elderly and those who are at risk, but protect businesses and people's mental health as well.

Wow just when I thought there was some hope just 15 minutes later Another absolutely massive number comes in, probably creep over 300 soon. Backlogs or not, our 7 day average has doubled. I don't really get the 3 week restrictions either. By the time we see results it will be 3 weeks so another 2-3 weeks is nearly guaranteed on that.

It's a massive number unfortunately. Bizarre reading some trying to downplay it on here. Thank god they aren't running our country.

It's the new social media generation, they'd like a Facebook page to raise awareness about the Rohingyas but when it comes to real action like masks and social distancing they're moaning at every guideline.

    All clicks no substance.

So long as it's not them and theirs they don't care

How do we do that? Lock them away? Have no one care for them?

They're traitors as far as I'm concerned. Not willing to sacrifice a few drinks or shags to save the elderly and vulnerable. Makes me ****ing sick some days

That's a good question. I don't know. But would you agree with me that what's going on is not sustainable?

I sounded the alarm 2 months ago about the increasing numbers and the worrying trends. I was told it was an outlier. Now that the numbers have increased I'm labeled a doom monger. I know there's a lot of mental fatigue but people have to stay strong
