As Hannibal says I love it when a plan comes together

    So what is the plan

The plan is to fight COVID 1-2-1 in a no holds barred cage match. I think we could get Marty Morrissey to fight our corner!

Liam Neeson has just been contracted. He's going to trace down the virus and then beat it up.

And what about the 100s of thousands who lose their job and end up going crazy like you ? Are u related to orange2 by any chance?

I'm not crazy just because I disagree with the majority here who are so laid back their spines are at a 45 degree angle. The government with the EU and IMFs assistance can subsidize all the payments to keep people ticking over until it's died down in Ireland. Then we proceed with a full closed border policy indefinitely

How so and what do you think will change in the next 24 hours?

Will be Wednesday evening in which case, the next 24 to 48 hours will be crucial.

    Clearly not very economically-savvy

It'll remain endemic in Ireland. We CANNOT kill the virus completely. Not a chance.

Tell that to NZ and Australia. What's their strategy?

their biggest strength is not being governed by a bunch of absolute useless spineless kunts

There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your life. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to act like a CMO?

I want a progress report and a 5 point plan on my desk(top) by 9am

Is it okay if we have a sub-point between points 2 and 3 of the 5 point plan?

If this was a job interview and I was chairing it, I'd tell him at the end that I would hope to look forward to seeing him again.

You can add a few bullet points but it'll still be point 2

Tell that to the thousands of Australians stranded worldwide as they have a limit of 4000 arrivals a week.
Lucky us Irish don't live/travel abroad to see family /s

All jokes aside(and I’m sure ACE would be quite a formidable CMO),if Ronan is gone to ground, who’s going to step up to the plate for the press conferences etc.??

Strange they haven't appointed a new deputy CMO, almost as if Tony will be back

I thought MM did well in very difficult circumstances...I.e out in the open, standing up, having heard shock news about a key Minister and faced by a peculiarly belligerent interviewer.
