Maybe he meant he left a message on her answering machine so she could listen to it when they got back.

    Or maybe he's just a f*cking liar.

    Definitely dementia.

Why are they wheeling out this tired geriatric?

    It's elder cruelty.

Perhaps this angle of attack on Biden was ill advised.

Look who stood in for Trump at the US cemetery at the WWI commemorations at Aisne Marne in 2018 which Trump reportedly refused to attend....John Kelly.

I'll take "link dump like hell and stuff the thread with absolutely anything else to try and push this back a few pages, and after that just pretend it didn't happen" for 500.

i think he's the 1st president not to invade another country, and by all accounts has brokered a peace deal in the ME that his predecessors have failed to do.

perhaps he was alluding to the futility of war, anyone that does that is a loser?

Anti Trumpers, clinging onto another big nothing burger.

Have to say I wasn't expecting the angle to be that it was some sort of philosophical commentary on the futility of war.

    What country did Obama invade?
    You know, the last president.

A peace deal in the Middle East?
Do you know anything about Palestine or Iran?
Can you call it a peace deal when countries are getting bombed?

Trump is such a ****ing stupid idiot. How anyone can support him is beyond me. Consistently more holes in the nonsense he spouts than a fine cheese.

i think everyone in this thread agrees.

the question for the american electorate is; is joe more of (to use your words) 'a ****ing stupid idiot'?

i think there is evidence to suggest so.

how did he back up putin?

'it tragic its terrible, it shouldn't happen' - everyone feels the same

'we haven't had any proof yet' - do you expect him to condemn russia with no proof?

i heard that trump brokered a peace deal, i thought he might be nominated for a peace prize. i was mistaken.

i need to do more research on the topic.

By pretending that there was doubt over Russian State involvement in Nalvani's poisoning from a poison that you don't exactly get off the pharmacy shelf.

cant see how this can possibly be a criticism of trump...not condemning russian (governmental involvement) of a pretty heinous political crime without proof?

what do you expect him to do, like really? with no proof of anything? what would you have him do?

Not contradict allies and his intel services to defend the guy who he, for some reason, won't criticise. We still don't have a reasonable reason for him behaving like Putin's bottom bitch.

what has NATO said that trump has contradicted?

he's asking for proof of a government level assassination of a massive putin opponent.

i don't see the problem with that at all, showing some restraint. can you imagine the potential fallout if those allegations are true/or false?

better to err on the side of caution.

Has Trump ever "erred" against Putin, and criticised him publicly?

There's plenty of examples of him rushing to criticise supposed "allies"; Merkel, Macron, Trudeau and many others. Why no Putin?

Why does a man who loves saying "I've heard this from many people" about total bull****, want incontrovertible and public evidenced that Putin personally poisoned Navalny? Who could have possible poisoned the leading opponent of the Russian state with novichok, if not the Russian state?

The "losers" story is obviously made up as a result of Trump gaining ground this week. Everything is from "sources", nothing concrete & no journalism is being done (part of the Atlantic story has already been debunked). If you take a look at unbiased polls, Trump has been playing a stormer this week, he is seen as tough against rioting & Americans see the riots as the Democrats fault. Biden has literally been playing catch up all week (look at him following trump to Kenosha like a puppy for example). Looking at the narrative in thread, its pretty obvious that there is noting going for Biden except lies. Hell, there's far more evidence of the Tara Read accusations that this baloney. As nuts as Trump might be, he would NEVER say that and nobody honestly believes he did either.

What part of The Atlantic story has been debunked?

In his denials, Trump has lied about calling McCain a loser and has lied about phoning Melania "in Washington" when he was in Paris. How can you trust what he's saying as he literally lies to you? Fox News and the AP have both confirmed the quotes in The Atlantic story.

What "unbiased" polls are you talking about?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,343 ✭✭✭dwayneshintzy

You say that "no journalism is being done"........is independent checking of quotes by multiple sources not journalism? What is journalism under your standards, then?
