I have received email regarding Dublin 2018 panel yet the EO 2019 panel appears to be disbanded??

I emailed PAS for an update a couple of weeks ago and they said 'the panel is due to close on the 30/09/2019'

How you can have the 2019 panel ending BEFORE the 2018 panel...

    Only PAS :pac:

Morning everyone, Would really appreciate your help, I am on the Self Assessment test on the PAS website. http://www.quickstart360.co.uk/runtesteo.aspx, unfortunately there is no option to 'Review Test' so that I can check my answers.

I have 13 years Management Experience and am scoring in the Lower Band of the test. Does anyone know where I can see the correct answers to see where I am going wrong.

I'd hazard a guess that you're trying to sort out too much yourself and not referring enough on. I went in with ten years management experience and did poorly on the initial testing. Luckily I was in as a CO already and got the feedback from serving EOs for the time the e-tray rocked around.

EO is a trainee/junior management position.

Just finished zoom interview. Was not as bad as I built it up in my head but not happy with my answer for final competency. Could end up failing on that. Was 45 mins long. They said this competition will be extended till November as wel.

" Drive and Commitment to Public Service" found hard. Did not have much to say there.

Well Done, great to get to interview stage. I'm sure you smashed it. Encouring to hear that panel will be extended to November at least. Makes more sense.

Well Done. That's fantastic. Was that for interview? Yes definitely keep going with 2020 campaign. I had applied in the CO 2016 campaign, had already completed first stage of 2018 campaign when I got offered a post. The panel expired the same week I was offered my post. You just never know with these panels so better to have your back up plan just incase.

Girl until you've been offered the job act as if you haven't been. But still - great news and congratulations. It's been extended to November also? I'm in with a slim shout so :D

There aren't any national competitions open currently. Occasionally there are specific clerical officer positions advertised.

I received an email this morning saying my place had been reached on the Kerry panel. I was offered the Dept of Social Protection. Do they allow people to work from home due to COVID? I’m currently working from home as a CO in Dept of Justice. I’m really worried about accepting if I can’t work from home.

What number were you in Kerry. Some EOs in Social Protection are working from home but since you will have to be trained, I don't know how that will work

Do you mind telling me if that was for north -Listowel/Tralee or south Killarney/Kenmare/Caherciveen. As I know they looked for expressions of interest for Killarney only at one stage.

I don’t mind at all! It is the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection in Tralee.

What number were you placed initially? I am on this panel too.

After testing I was 41st in Kerry. I was then placed 8 in batch 1.3 after interview. I think there were 10 people in batch 1.1 and 3 people in batch 1.2. I don’t know how many are in batch 1.3.

    Anyone on the westmeath Panel?
Got interview results today. Batch 1.4 order of merit is 2. Can't believe I passed. 30 was my lowest score and the rest were early to mid 40's in competencies.
