So the thing is we have now learnt how the virus spreads mainly. In closed environments without social distancing. Maybe not so much in outdoor spaces. Germany have the facilities to deal with this and they have forced boarders to be opened and have pushed their way into other countries so their economies dont collapse. They have spread the virus again across europe. The thing is they can deal with it. We cant in Ireland we dont have the hospital capacity or facilities or the govt who can deal with it.

What on earth has that got to do with the erroneous post I replied to?

No, below it, 10 - 49 years.

That because older people are more risk averse now and young ones are yoloing their way through this :pac:

I totally believe GHermany will spread this virus around Europe again. That started at the outset of this. pushing their way into Spain to holiday homes. Thay were sent back . Angela Merkal started demanding EU open up boarders. They have a very high RO number. They then have all the protests in the country. Im glad for BREXIT you can be sure.

Went to Dundrum Shopping Center. Mask compliance is roughly 50%.

I'm very surprised at that low compliance rate. I was in Limerick city centre today and I'd say that 95% were wearing masks. In the half an hour I was there, I only saw 4 people (adults) not wearing them.

Ok, I'll ask just once more though previous experience suggests you won't revert to the topic, what has that got to do with the posts concerned? For once please answer the point.

Yes, but you have to take out the amount of robbers first in Limerick.

It's so sad to see such huge cases in Melbourne. Was all this brought on by selfish security guards?

I see the vintners association is saying that pubs should get compensation if they can't open next Monday and I've no issue with that. I can understand why the government is wary of letting the rest of the pubs reopening, but I think that pubs who are closed should be supported. I think that's a very fair request.

It’s mad, I’m back refreshing twitter to see today’s numbers. I’d got so at ease with numbers dropping I’d only check when smallies in bed.

Don't stress yourself out about daily case figures, it's really not worth it. More important details are transmission figures and locations at this stage.

Australia have had a 6% of positive cases admitted to hospital. Majority of cases are in the 10-49 age group. That's a reminder that the virus is hitting youg people hard also
No, below it, 10 - 49 years.

Read how the post is constructed

6% of all cases hospitalised is a quantifiable amount

Then the poster refers to the "majority".

    What does the majority mean?

94% of all cases were not hospitalised, would 94% be a majority? Would that mean 94% of cases were 10-49 and few of them were hospitalised?

Ah I know, it’s more just to try see where it’s going number wise and clusters or community.

Not going to happen. We're only talking about another month or two before they can reopen. The approach of government will be they have the existing supports only and any that go wallop well there were too many pubs anyway.

Had hoped to see cases drop a bit but hopefully numbers will stabilise there at least

32 associated with outbreaks, the numbers will continue to be high for the next few days when this is the case. That Kildare outbreak is massive.

Is there any info on what percentages of those cases are asymptomatic, or what percentages overall remain asymptomatic?
