I wouldn't exactly blame them with this.

Well I guess it wont be long before hell get a knock at the door and be forced to close again if he goes ahead on Monday.

I am not a big FGer... but, since FF have taken over... it feels like things are not quite as clear anymore. Leo is a master of spin and PR... but, it kinda worked for the last few months and now we have bumbling Martin instead

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm not sure if the Gardaí actually have the power to stop him. Of course the next time his license is up for review it could be revoked then alright. It'll be interesting to see what happens

But if enough pubs do it. It could cause the Government a bit of a headache

That's brilliant. It's so funny. The fence is not switched on but the signs are enough for people to comply with social distancing. It's very clever.

A lot of langered people and no social distancing will cause a much bigger headache if cases continue to rise if they open. There basically shooting themselves in the foot and using the inward travel excuse as the reason to do this. Instead of just waiting 3 weeks see where we are but nope knee jerk reaction as per usual open up and be damned because MONEY. Dr Glynn said we are at a precarious stage with this virus and this kind of idiocy is not what we need right now.

The publican threatening to open and the young fella in the street saying that he won't wear a mask as it doesn't affect him are huge. The government has lost the people.

Two self obsessed idiots. A huge loss to any government.

Theyd lose far more people if they pandered to the idiots.

I've a lot of time for Zara King. She asks questions that make snarky f*ckers on the internet roll their eyes but that people in the real world want to know the answers to.

What do these numbers represent if there was an increase of 8 cases and the numbers are +11 / + 43 etc

Come off it! They're far from typical. They just suit the narrative of a few curmudgeons.

Maybe I’m stupid but if it’s 8 new cases, how is there 11 new healthcare workers infected and 140 odd New cluster cases?
