They definitely find any new leads on the disappearance very unsettling. Imagine being faced with the realisation that everything you’ve believed for all these years is WRONG!!!!!lol

Oh, the armchair detectives would be apoplectic if the parents were actually innocent all along.

Seriously though, I really hope this lead eventually brings some closure to the family. It's every parent's worst nightmare.

    No need for the tone

It's past midnight and I'd typed enough in that post as it was

Listen to the final episode of Maddie here https://omny.fm/shows/maddie/may-3 - including expert criminal profiler Pat Brown's thoughts. She outlays exactly how and where the body was moved

You work away there now, I'm off to bed x

So you don’t have a theory either ? 12 years I’m waiting for one of you to back up your rubbish... seems I’m still going to wait...

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,453 ✭✭✭touts

Oh please let's not start letting the conspiracy theory loons out from under their rock...best to ignore.

Even if this guy confessed and led police to her body, these fools would still insist it was a set up and start banging on about her parents being masons or some such ****.

We shouldn't let them scurry for cover under their rocks. I hope social media platforms pull these hypocrites out kicking and screaming from under their rocks by pinning the lies they spread about the McCanns to the top of their social media feeds and leaves them stuck there for all their followers to see.

and ...why would that mean they’d lose custody of their kids?!?

    Because they were grossly negligent

Gerhard mchans is about the only german suspect here.

So what’s your theory Eric? When where how why and who. You can give us bullet points if you like....(not holding breath).

You trolling...so it's ok to leave children alone while you go on the raz...their child went missing while they were more concerned about drinking a few bottles of wine instead of looking after their children... could have hired a sitter but they didn't... because they are sh!t parents who aren't fit to have custody of their remaining children

Yeah, they should throw their happy, well adjusted twins into the foster care system as further punishment. Then throw rotten fruit at the McCanns in the town stocks.

That'll placate the holier than thou mob.

Seriously...the UK children services should have removed them...It's easy to see that all their PR and photoshoots with the Blair's has worked to painting the McCanns as holier than thou

So they were never charged with neglect never mind found guilty of neglect by either of 2 countries investigating the case.
So It’s really just your opinion that they neglected their kids. And you think someone in authority should take your opinion into account and take their kids off them?!? Why would they do that? Who are you to decide?

Which is an utter disgrace, their actions on the night Madeline went missing are the definition of neglect

You do know that children’s services can’t take kids into care based on the opinion of some anonymous poster on an internet chat room? You do know that it doesn’t work like that?

If leaving your 3 kids alone in an apartment abroad while you're out having dinner ain't negligence I don't know what is

So what is the legal definition of child neglect from the UK child services standpoint and what is the criteria for having children removed from the care of the parents and what is the evidence to show that the McCanns meet the criteria. I’m assuming here that in order to state categorically that they meet the criteria you can point me in the direction of the correct legislation.

But but but what if they saw a documentary on YouTube. After all nothing is ever fake on YouTube 😂

Well, no. It looks as if you genuinely don’t know what negligence is, legally. It’s really just your opinion, ISNT it? Not worth any more or less then my opinion....

I never said anything about law.

So yes in my opinion they were negligent or idiots. Definitely both actually.

I love all these self appointed experts who believe the McCanns somehow accidentally killed Madeline and then hid her body in a suitcase or the back of the car or under the bed while dozens of police forensically went through the apartment and it's surrounds. And then as if that wasn't enough they suddenly managed disposed of her body somewhere between the resort and the airport while being escorted by police and with world's media followed their every move. And they disposed of it so well in a country they didn't know that 13 years later the body still hasn't been discovered.

Of course that's much more believable than a paedo broke in snatched her and drove off.

Next I'll be told getting drunk and not feeding my children is not a form of neglect if I do it while on holidays...it's still neglect just like what the McCanns did on the night Madeline went missing

My brother in Germany said German TV are saying they have serious evidence but can’t disclose it. This is the first of the “suspects” that has gotten this sort of seriousness about them I think.

Obviously the McCanns were extremely irresponsible in leaving their kids alone to go out. But if they really were involved in their daughters death would they still be publicizing the case all these years later and drawing even more attention to themselves? Surely they would want everyone to forget about it if they knew exactly what happened?

It’s just your opinion that it’s neglect. You thinking a thing doesn’t make it a fact.

A year ago this excellently put together and researched podcast predicted that this German guy would be the scapegoat. So "debunked" was the wrong word to use there. But they called it a year in advance he would be a patsy

My thoughts (as someone who's watched and listened to a lot of material on this)

The McCanns gave Madelaine sleeping tablets so she wouldn't wake while they were dining. She woke up and banged her head badly whilst standing on the sofa looking out the window for her parents. The sniffer dogs (with 100% correct record) both barked at the spot behind this sofa

When they came home and found a deceased Madeleine they both knew the sleeping tablets in her system would be found in the autopsy. They also knew this marked the end of their careers as doctors and likely the end of custody of their other two kids

The amount of evidence out there about these parents is staggering and I believe one day, eventually, they'll face jailtime

In the meantime, they'll whirl their highly paid PR machine out once a year with nonsense like this latest German guy

As with everything from day one of this from Gerry and Kate McCann, it's all smoke and mirrors

I highly recommend the Maddie Podcast https://omny.fm/shows/maddie, the amount of research gone into it is incredible

    And this too

A fourth generation new world American expert examining old world professional Europeans with zero heed to linguistical patterns of expression, speech & cultural differences, particularly when it comes to presbyterian Scots and that classic meandering English dialect that takes a while to get to the point.

It's as valid at getting an Italian dialogue expert to analyse a Kerryman's version of a story.

I call bullsheet on this one.

The German police think they may have a very serious lead in the case. Is that not good news?

I feel this maybe the answer we've been waiting for.
Is the case going to be finally put to bed do you think?
