You'd think in all likelihood they'd have sense to turn off live chat for the stream, but in case they didn't maybe either watch a embedded stream here on boards or wait until after and they post it normally.

I just turn off comments on YouTube or twitch, depending on where I view a live stream

Think someone needs to work on their math. I went to the 'Under €5' section of the store. First game on the list? NBA 2K20 for 59.99

There's an under 10 and under 20 but don't see the under 5

It was 4.99 during previous sale which ended few days ago, they must not have updated the store page

I ordered last of us 2 on the Indonesian store, I reckon the game will have a preload download before release. Would I be right in saying I can download and play the game when it hits midnight in Indonesia?

Should be able to, I preordered Spiderman on the Indonesia store and was able to play it at 6pm the day before release as it was midnight in Indonesia. Also all digital preorders will always have preload available at least 2 to 3 days before release day.

How do CEX work with selling PS4s, I've a 500GB PS4 that's got a larger HDD. Will have to check but I assume it's 1TB or if it's not I've got one lying around. Will I get the price for the 1TB or should I just put the 500GB back in if I can find one and do that.

I'd put the stock drive back in and sell it.

I'd put the stock drive back in and sell it.

The 1TB is pretty worthless to me, and the price difference isn't far off what a new 1TB goes for.

    A 500GB drive lying isn't any different to a 1TB lying around.

Just need to know will they check the serial code, or just boot it and check there.

I'd say they scan it. You'd be resetting the system anyway so may as well change the drive.

    But maybe I'm wrong.

They wanted the original drive size when I queried. And that’s the start. You will need power cords, controller, controller cable and if your model shows up as getting 2 controllers at point of sale, they will want that also. Also the HDMI cable to the TV. In short, whatever you got in the box.

Is it possible to check online if your PS4 had 2 controllers with the model. I bought PS4 years ago, 2 controllers but one was separate in its own box. I sold the 2nd controller the day I bought PS4 to cex!

Iirc there are only 2 or 3 bundles that included 2 pads. They shouldn't be able to tell from the serial though so if you don't have the box you'd be ok.

In your case the controller is outside the PS4 box so is counted as a separate product.

Okay so, this is incredible but I only just figured out that you can plug any 3.5mm headphone jack into the PS4 controller and then play the audio only through the headphones.

Not sure why I thought you couldn't do this or why I never looked into it before now. Actually maybe because the headset that came with it has the strange connection bit.

Wow, this really is a game changer, I wonder what I've been missing out on the last few years :D

Everyday really is a school day and what a time to be alive

The choice of headphones makes a big difference too. Using the AKG ones I got with the S10 are really, really good. Tried a replacement set I got for my HTC ones, but they were the cheaper remakes rather than the amazing OEM ones, so were crap, and were still crap via the DS4.

With Sony pushing the 3D audio in their high end headsets too i hope they actually include bluetooth audio this time around.

Cheers for that. I have a pair entry level Sennheiser headphones that I'm using now and they'll do the trick (for now...).

Any gaming recommendations where the audio makes a big difference? I remember reading that the original Dead Space was brilliant but maybe that was with surround sound. How they haven't remastered that game yet is beyond me.

Can't believe I only figured this out. Even for watching films, it's a completely difference experience.

Hellblade is amazing played through headphones.

Tempted to properly open up the PS4 and clean out the heatsink. Popped the cover last night as Sekiro has been driving the fan insane, but it's damn near spotless. Sprayed some air around it and it was a bit quieter today as I moved it in the press to where it can get a bit more air, but I dread to think what The Last of Us 2 might do to it.

Dead by Daylight causes my Pro to pop up the overheating warning so I'm thinking of doing the same, buying an anti-static brush & some thermal paste and taking it apart.
I found this vid which looks like a very thorough walkthrough of how to do it.

Yeah I was wrong about it being quieter. Just ordered a toolset (as I could probably do with one anyway) and thermal paste. F*ck it, going to give it a try.

You need to youtube that ****. You'll either help a lot of people or make them laugh if you brick it. Either way, you'd get a like and subscribe from me :)

I'm using Sidetone setting (sounds picked up from mic go into your headset) with the psvr and it's so ****ing useful for the baby monitor. Does anyone know if this setting is always there for any headphones with a mic? If so, i can use that for TLOU 2 and the fan noise would be much less of a problem for me.

Before taking the thing apart fully try removing the power supply and cleaning between the heatsink fins which you can get to easily with the power supply removed, you don't need to disconnect the power supply just move it out of the way. Can also clean the power supply while you're at it.

It's an option on some headsets, and on some it's even controllable on the PS4 but most of them have sound isolation so it's only sound occurring near the mic. This type of sidetone/mic monitoring is mostly a VR thing, the vive does it too and lets you decide if you only hear speak or all noise.

If the baby monitor had any outputs either Bluetooth, 3.5mm, or connectivity to an app there'd be some options using a mixer. Depending on headset there's option there too.

What's your main headset and do you have any spare headsets or old microphones lying around.

Cheap Playsonic2 headphones, no spare mics. Will try it later and see anyway thanks.

It'll be a 56 minute video. 6 minutes cleaning the PS4 and replacing the thermal paste, 50 minutes trying to pry the covers off with my fingers :D

They make it look so easy in all the videos but because I have double-jointed fingertips, I barely have the strength in them to pull the cover up. Damn near break them every time I've tried before I finally hear that click (the cover, not my fingers).

Was thinking of that, but do I risk blowing any dust that's there into another part of the machine or will it just blow it towards the fan? Or should I use cotton buds/brush to clean the heatsink in that instance rather than compressed air?
