Last thing i want to do is brick my ps4 before tlou 2 comes out.

Ah shyte. I've done so well making sure I only buy PS4 games that have the equivalent of a black label. Ordered a game there during the week and it came this morning. F*cking PlayStation Hits red label uniformed keech! What's funny is it's One-Piece Pirate Warriors 3. I didn't think that game would sell that well in the first place let alone enough to warrant that cover.

I know. I'm just saying it surprised me that it sold the required amount to get the label. As of 2016 it sold 1 million units. Again, how? lol Those games are as niche as they come.

Regardless, it's the first time I've ever gotten a red label PS4 game, and it doesn't look right on the shelf :mad: :pac:

Yeah I'm just going to leave it until the PS5 comes out, then do the thermal paste. Hopefully won't even need the PS4 after that with backwards compatibility, but never know. Mine's mostly fine, just some map screens in games especially or some menus, they just drive the thing wild.

I finally (after almost 5 years) finally took my PS4 apart to clean it out as it was ridiculous when playing FF7R.

Just used compressed air and a micro fibre cloth and while it's not silent, it's massively reduced the noise coming out of it. I'd try that first if you haven't done it yet. I just used the compressed air you get from Dealz

Maybe a weird question, but is there any gamer with carpal tunnel syndrome here?
I wanted to play PS4 after a long break, unfortunately I was surprised that it is "no go" in current state of my hands. As I'm still waiting for doc decision what next, but in the meantime did maybe someone had a similar problem and solved it with 3rd party gamepad?

Thoughts on Ghost of tsushima?

I thought it looked beautiful but the combat looked incredibly dry and lifeless.

I drifted off twice while watching the gameplay. Looks amazing on the surface.

I thought the gust of wind guidance feature is way too OTT and will be more annoying constantly calling it in.

Wind seems to be a constant, before each time he calls the gust the wind is blowing the grass in the right directions. The gust just looks a help if you need something less subtle.

Try keeping wrists straight and slight palm side up much as possible, when you turn your wrist palm down the bones constrict. Wrist supports would likely help keeping them straight.

I have carpal tunnel that flares up occasionally but it's not been a big issue for a while. I've never had much hassle with the PS4 controller apart from very, very occasional numbness if I've been playing it for hours but tbh, I tend not to have the luxury of playing for hours anyway. I can't play the Switch with the controllers docked because it absolutely kills my hands after playing for more than half an hour or more. What Varik says about keeping wrists straight and palms facing slightly up is good advice.

Would the Xbox adaptive controller work on PS4? Might be an option.

It's a bit of an extreme option for carpal tunnel. Wear supports when you have a flair up - they make a huge difference even you look like the gamer dude from South Park when wearing them - and limit your playing time so that you're not exacerbate the problem.

I've seen that Mafia III has released a definite edition with all the DLC added for free for existing owners of the game.

However, the DLC pack doesn't seem to be available in Ireland. Any idea why this is the case?

US store is fine, and looked at UK and that's not free for the same DLC & the pack is the locked too.

Just turned my PS4 on there and the definitive edition was downloading. I've the PS plus version of the game so maybe the DLC is only needed for the disc copy of the game.

Some PlayStation Days of Play details leaked that there'll be PlayStation Plus will be 30% off with a number of games at €19.

Other leaks from retailers set out discounts on PS4 consoles and PS VR headsets. Promotions such as the PS4 1TB Pro console including Spiderman, The Last Of Us Remastered and Horizon Zero Dawn together for €399.

Starts 25 May and lasts til 8 June.

So had to delete and redownload Mafia 3 as the update didn't work, the DLC is a separate download even if the game now presents itself as definitive so that isn't included in update.

The Faster, Baby! DLC which was still paid yesterday is now unavailable same as the content pack. Where the content pack says i don't own "Mafia III", the DLC say today I don't own "Mafia III Season Pass" which was still available yesterday but is gone today.

They'll likely fix it at some point but if anyone wants to play now and can't wait you'll need to phone them as email/chat won't help as this is a account issue. or just set up non-Irish & non-UK account and get them that way.
