How the hell do I post pics on this forum???

in essence, you can attach images to posts and you can use the 'insert images' function (when editing of creating posts) to link to the image attached.

Tried autosol for the first time today, the photo doesn’t show it but the difference is huge. A serious amount of dirt came from these. Have to finish it tomorrow

in an attempt to bring this thread back on topic - i lubed (ooer) my clutch cable today. It was sticky as hell and full of gunk. I bought a cable luber during the week, so was able to clamp that on and spray a load of wd40 down there to loosen the gick, and it appears to be much smoother now. I haven't been on the bike since i bought it, but might go and get petrol today, and bring it for a spin around the block to make sure it is ok.

it was idling a bit low, so i raised the idle by turning a screw. It's bouncy (compared to sports bikes) but again, i havent really done much riding on it. I do remember being impressed with it as a package - good wide leverage on the bars, but will see what it's like when i eventually get it out for a good spin.

Turning a screw for idle is my preferred method of idle adjust:) Fookin stepper motors, tuneboy, co, fuel idle trims....
I'd say your gona love it, like a smoother better version of yer old bandit?

9 years with original battery. Time to replace.

    IMG_20200428_121407.jpg

5.3 to 1.3Kg and the starter really spins now

Nice bit of pace under it and some weight saving. I used a smaller battery and modified the box to accept a small aa compressor pump.
Where'd you get the battery (how much if you don't mind me asking) and what bike?

    Tiger 800
Mts-racing-shop24 on ebay. Also on line motorradteile-mts.de
Same price as new battery for my 15 qashqai. Not cheap.
