Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Good stuff PTH!

    I'm really labouring over my PPV this year for some reason.

    I have the matches laid out in my head but writing them seems to be problematic for some reason.

    I'm thinking I may have to do a synopsis of each instead, but I still have a bit of time too so will see how I go.

    Have my preview written, will hopefully have it posted later today. Need to fix up the formatting and make sure it isn't too long - that's not a problem I anticipate for the PPV itself :pac:

    I'll get something written before the deadline.

    I'm being slammed work wise currently though. Apparently being a toy seller right as all kids are locked at home, and all the brick-and-mortar stores are shut, means a massively increased work load.

    But I've got the matches laid out in my head, so should be able to bang up something :)

    Hope we are given time after the deadline so as to be able to read everyones stuff too. I read MNGs, posted my preview which I had been prepping little by little over the past several weeks and since then haven't had a huge amount of time to check anything done since. With the newborn and the lack of a lockdown etc here I've not exactly had loads of time myself so will be using spare non sleep time to just try to get my own done.


    Glad to hear your business is doing well LTSC, too many people I know are struggling with what's going on, gotta be a silver lining somewhere.

    My write-up will be pretty much only the matches. I had most of the show written and cannot find where I saved it. I have one save from earlier in the process but no chance I will

    I wouldnt mind a week extension because with this Lockdown i have officially gotten addicted to Netflix and spend most of my time on that. Will aim to get my pre ppv show up this weekend

    Sure. If there are no objections and since it's Easter I'll give a one week extension until 18th April.

    I'll be posting a close to full PPV anyway. Might not finish every single match based off my current speed of writing but it'll be pretty in depth at the very least.



    Anyone here understand Youtube analytics ? This one surprised me

    You might have noticed a Youtube video in my build up show called The Worst of WWF in 10mins. I actually made that video about 4 years ago by crudely chopping together different videos for this draft. I ended up not getting the roster I had planned on getting (Hogan, Vince, Pattterson, Snuka etc) so never used it until this year. It has just sat on youtube with about 10 views for those 4 years.

    I posted it on the draft thread this year (and nowhere else) on the 23rd of last month... the exact time the video started getting more views. Suddenly the past few days I keep getting emails telling me I have new subscribers (had 0 prior to this) despite the fact that every other video of mine is even older than that one and worse made, back from the boards Efed days.

    Now I have 57 subscribers, the video has 174 Comments on it (up from zero ha) and 37,394 views!

    Apologies for my barebones effort. I had a horse load of stuff written but cannot find it anywhere. I think I might have accidentally saved over it and I honestly have no desire to re-do it despite the extension.

    Thankfully cos I split it over 2 posts because of number of pics etc half my PPV is in the can but I just lost so much due to my computer crapping out on me when stuff was not saved!

    Gonna have to re-write all the Vince/Trump related stuff / matches now and fear the other bits (primarily the tag team situation) from that half of the PPV might be bare bones as I usually have very little time each day for myself atm.

    What's the story with regards announcers? Are they eligible to everybody?

    I am doing a Hogan promo on my PPV so I'm wondering if I can do the 'You know something, Mean Gene' line.

    I think if they weren't drafted they're communal property. So if 12 of us want Michael Cole commentating as an eg then that's fine imo. Similar for undrafted backstage people like Mean Gene.

    Am I right in thinking they just can't play a big part in an angle? I.e. Mean Gene interviewing Hogan is grand, Michael Cole commentating on matches is too. But Mean Gene punching Hogan and getting involved in a match isn't (as hilarious as that image is)

    The continuity and lack of editing may be jarring (could also be 100% fine I just don't know as I've been writing a match / backstage segment individually here and there for the past few weeks) but I should have mine up in the next day or so as I've only one more match to do I think.

    I've thrown up what my PPV card would be with the roster I assembled. I wish I could get an actual show put up, but time constraints means I wanted to get the card and graphics posted, to show what the ideas would have been :)

    Time got away from me with getting my write up done, but spent the last hour doing up my PPV Card, and a brief write up on each.
