Yeah, the two most corrupt party's in the history of the state have now to join together and still cant form a government.

They now will have offer their "outside of the family" friends like Michael Lowry "incentives" to get them into power.
You know the one that a judge said their corruption was "breathtaking beyond belief" ,it will cost more vessels of the state to be "sold of" to casino moguls and tele billionaires and Cork property developers who saved a senior FF politician in the tribunals amongst many others.

Better to have Violet Anne (12k rent arrears for living rent free for 4 years) and Reada in power.

Make Violet-Anne minister for housing. Was it Violet Ann that was the anti-vaxxer? She can be minister of health also.

Reada is very knowledgeable on the banking system and history maybe joint minister of foreign affairs and minister of finance also.

Maybe Aongus can be in charge of printing and one of the convicted terrorists can be minister for justice.

again, the numbers simply arent there for a sf lead government, and ffg will do everything in their power to prevent that, hence why we re more than likely gonna have a ffg lead government, possibly indefinitely

I have seen zero from SF. They are the exact same when prior to the election as they are now. They have added no value to anyone.

    Hardly the "change" voters wanted?

    Have you seen anything?

That wont happen. There isn’t the right kind of seed bed in media here for it. And generally Irish electorate would never fall for it. See Peter Casey and wee Gemma and Justin for evidence of that

There’s no appetite for it. Try as they might to rabble rouse in social media

    I agree.

To have any chance, you need a leader with serious charisma and Justin no matter your opinion of his politics (awful obviously) has none whatsoever.

Gemma even in right wing circles is considered a joke.

If you want that sort of politics, best you can hope for is a few really right wing Indys here and there.

I have a better chance of been taoiseach that Mary Lou does :P this was her best chance and instead of running the show she is keep RTE news relevant

The smiley faces really don’t help make your point.

In fact they make it look like a child’s fancy paper. And worth about as much.

    Have you seen anything?

All their suggestions are more or less taken up by the government 3 to 4 days after they suggest them

Im at a loss as to.what you think a party that isnt in government can do.....i think SF are hypocrites mind, but your critism isnt based on any solid foundation or remotely valid?

Like the 2nd biggest opposition party proposal to solve the corona virus, was to grow lettuce in south facing windows (and this group of brainiancs will most likely be taken onboard by FF/FG to solidify a government)

......if everything SF say or do triggers yous to the extent it seems to,perhaps you should just try ignore them??

Maybe you should read past the headline or listen to the point the Greens made: https://www.irishtimes.com/news/health/coronavirus/green-party-call-on-people-to-grow-salad-on-south-facing-windowsills-1.4209019

It was a point about mental health, keep active etc. if you listen he did reference it "was not the most important thing". If you try and stop sniggering it is a valid point. Growing vegtables etc might not be the worst idea in terms of keeping busy and also from supply!!

This "all the points" was taken up by the government is a load of BS, do you really think the government is sitting waiting for SF to announce something and go "thats a great idea lets do that"

    Cop on will ya!!

Whatever about FG, FF, SF - if there was an election tomorrow I very much doubt that The Greens would get a single seat.

( They have shown themselves to be a bunch of to**er* )

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,440 ✭✭✭Rodney Bathgate

Someone should remind SF that they aren’t in government. Apparently they have a ‘Ministerial Team’ tackling ‘cover-19 crisis’ (whatever that is).

Some lads on here are trying to paint an image of Sinn Fein as a party that is in reality just projecting themselves as a poster.

"Very soon we are going to Mars. You wouldn't have been going to Mars if my opponent won, that I can tell you. You wouldn't even be thinking about it."

If you have 12 hours a day to be spending on boards banging on about one single topic in this case Sinn Fein

    You’re either
    A a doleite Waster
B a Fine Gael spin bot
C someone with genuinely no life

Can we get a poll up on that? Think we’d all like to see those results.
    :)
I think we can safely rule out option B.

Except i havnt suggested anything close to this, infact government usually critises SF for.their points before going to their expert medical commite and more or less doing them.a few days later

(hint:SF has a massive healthcare membership and advisors on the payroll, hence why their health policy document for the election was so highly regarded)

    Cop on will ya!!
your free to stop.replying at any moment....you asked for something, got an answer you dislike, now your screaming to others to cop on,check yourself bro......SF are terrible hypocrites, but your critism of em isnt valid or based on anything substancial

It's gone that bad now we have the very bottom of the Irish voters coming into the thread

We now have the Healy Rae fan club!!!!

This has to be the end for Michael Martin surely?
On the other hand I can think of anyone within that party to takeover? They’re a total nest of vipers internally but his hopes of ever being Taoiseach are surely gone. So leadership challenge can’t be far off

What are you on about? He is going to be the Taoiseach, him and the blueshirts are cutting a deal

The election was 6 weeks ago,its surely still on their website (under forum charter,im under no obligation to.provide links, its easily found anyway)??......tbh my sister works in private hospiteal, and it was consultants there, said it would make a massive difference if implemented, one of whom was interviewed on newstalk aswel.....

    Of course you are triggered.
Almost everything you have said on thread has been triggered as a reaction to 'DE SHINNERS'. :)

There's alot of room for a party on the right if someone can step up.

Fine Gael have that covered. That's why you had chancers like Verona Murphy joining them, they kicked her out when she opened her big gob, but that was the home for the likes of her traditionally. Varadker wouldn't have her in the fold but if FG were lead by someone like Alan Shatter or Charlie Tanaghan she'd still be in the party and be told to just not say it again but the cat would be out of the bag and she'd get the racist vote.

We don’t have a right in Ireland in my view. Outside what, david Quinn, a few more vocal people on boards and the wingnuts who don’t know whaat they are like Justin barret and Gemma

Verona Murphy and Noel Grealish count on it to get elected. Peter Casey got a lot of votes when he ran for the Presidency but he was useless and that's why he hasn't built on it and won a Dail seat since. He said he wanted to lead Fianna Fail as if he could just join up and take over, he was daft, but he did gets votes initially and chancers like him could get support.

Please quote me once saying "De Shinners" or anything or the sort?
