Get ta **** with your scaremongering bollox.

It's serious but you lads are full of it.

Do you understand the concept of exponential growth?

We're all out of step only Johnny. Or Woodsie in this case.

Either show us your alternative projections from a reputable source or gtfo.
Almost every western European country is projecting anywhere from 40 to 80% of the population infected. This isn't scaremongering.

OK, so Iceland currently has 160 cases. They have a population of 400k max i reckon. And we have been open to all of Europe, states, china. Sure we'll be grand

The Spanish flu affected all age groups seriously, this doesn’t seem to.

It didn't. More BS. The Spanish flu effected the 20-40 age group much more. It thrived on fighting a strong immune system, flooded the lungs with phlegm. Cyanosis was a common symptom and vomiting blood.

Overall mortalities could be similar with this one.

as some pretending to know it all cant even do single maths on scale, uk has dozens of cities where entire irish population would fit, so their approach to keep it going and accepting that there will be casualties isnt wrong.

as in general we have many deaths that can be avoided nowadays but every clown will ignore that just because some are really mentally not right, and times like these truly show who have real mental issues.

You’re saying others can’t do simple maths, then say the bolded bit? There is precisely one UK city that could fit the population of Ireland into it. London and that is it.

    We're doomed....20k out of 60m Italians infected .
A long way from half the population.

Stop with the scaremongering,it's a serious issue but no need for the apocalyptic carry on

Why are Western countries projecting such high rates of infection compared to the East? Or are the East just not projecting that far out into the future?

Too busy trying to make it all sound apocalyptic to bother working it out properly.

Look most of the clowns on here left the circus 4 or 5 days ago. But you're a rare one.

Not apocalyptic only your head can't comprehend it.

Give us facts and sources to support your opinion?

    How many will die?

We'll be waiting because you, my friend, are a waffle.

No more than 1000 in Ireland.
Pneumonia and the common flu cause roughly the same amount of deaths annually in this country.

    So far.

Nobody has said we are all doomed either so what are you on about.

How many Italians were infected at Christmas?

March 1st Ireland had one confirmed case only can you not see what way this is going.

Most of us are going to get the bloody thing accept it.
Up to 20% will be severe and between 2% and 6% will die.

193 people died of this is Spain on Saturday alone up from 120 on Friday what part of this do you not understand?

I'm going to bed now. But to conclude, health services across the globe, every expert, the WHO are all suggesting 40-70% infection rates and 2% morbidity being conservative.

Countries can only show figures of what they are capable of testing daily. Growth is exponential. No apocalypse. We'll come other side but lose lives.

    Goodnight.

Not one country so far has had anywhere near that infection rate.
China and S.Koreaare seeing reductions in the numbers already.

But go ahead chicken little the sky is falling OMG!!!

Before I go apocalypse is Black Death figures of death. 30-50%.

2-5%. Tragic and will alter life after but not apocalypse.

I sure did...in fact I'm nearly sure my mother got it and passed it to my 9 year old son and I've actively kept him away from his 79 year old grandad...i reckon I got it my dad got it and my other son who's 6 got it...we have all had something like a bad cold without a runny nose the last 3 weeks...trust me we are all taking every precaution but nobody is running around wailing that half the country will get it and the death rate will be enormous

    Do you trust China?

South Korea is rising again. You're not up to speed. Also their measures are more 'thorough' than ours re. Lockdown.

And the chicken was Chicken Licken ;)

If you're calling people chicken licken, you're an ostrich, and your head is more up your posterior than in the sand.

And how are they doing this by going into lockdown.

Braindead morons saying it will all be grand going out on the piss spreading it everywhere.

Not going to debate with you as you are posting nonsense and I need to go to sleep.

    Maybe think about it.:)
