    this weather is horrific and begining to get me down just relentless wind and rain , i know its a normal winter/spring for west of ireland but seriously not used to this here. badly need a turn in weather

    33mm since last night.
    Another 60-80mm forecasted from now ‘till Tuesday night.

    Old folk saying that it’s as bad as ‘86 or even ‘58...

    I’m sick of it anyhow.

    ( And more importantly when ye get a very wet year does Ireland get a dry one ,or do we drown ? )
    I can't really remember 86 , but all the summers of my youth were glorious

    I’m not here long enough to comment on what way the summer goes. I do know that there’s been a drought without fail every summer for over a decade.

    * spilling rain now and giving 65mm by tomorrow night.

    Got the car washed, 1st time in like 3 months! I don't feel like such an outcast at the sec in comparison to my neighbours who seem to be always on top of choirs like that and cutting the lawn etc and not running around like a blue arsed fly.
