    If that is the case its extremely naive for a doctor to have been working giving the situation and travel history.

    I say if because like the other 2 cases there were alot of rumours that ended up being false so we wait and see

    Well, if one was writing the movie script that would be the opening plot, lovely bright doctors office, kids pictures on the wall, cheerful secretary, doctor pats patient on the arm and says, Don't worry, Mary, you will be grand again in no time.......Mary pops in to the local shop on her way home....next patient...dun dun dun music starts.

    I think everyone has seen the text, its being doing the rounds since last night so that bit we know to be true.

    Yea could be I got that info from someone who lives a few km up the road from where the school is. It's Ireland though, the only place a mouse can walk in one end of the village and be an elephant on his way out.

    Think the text is legit alright.

    It's the doctor stuff that is only rumour

    Ennistymon is only a few minutes up the road I passed through both Tuesday but thankfully decided to have lunch in lahinch. Did stop in Aldi in ennistymon though and it was full of secondary school kids.
    If any of the kids are over national school age there probably in school in ennistymon.

    You would hope it's a wind up - surely a doctor coming home from a hotspot would consider self isolation, even if no symptoms present.

    I own a suit shop dealing with the public and have had people in over the last few weeks from all different countries picking up suits who are going to formal dinners.

    Am currently in bed with pretty much similar symptoms of the virus which started early Tuesday morning, (obviously could be just a bad head cold) under the current guidance I won't be tested is this correct. Can someone shed some light on my worry. Also an asthmatic.

    I did some food shopping the other day. There was a young Polish woman coughing away in Tesco without covering her mouth. There were young lads hawking up phlegm all over the footpaths as usual. In the queue in Aldi an elderly man shouted from behind "let me ahead of you". The smell off him was unnatural so I let him go ahead so at least I could stand a a fair distance behind him. He smelled like he hadn't taken a bath since about 1950. The HSE need to tell people to do more than wash their hands.
