The graph is the same for every country really.

    SKKKKTTT.png?itok=JeR7RAdZ

UK at 51 now so you would imagine theirs will really begin to take off soon.

Every country I've seen has that graph which makes it quiet predictable.

Anyone think they hit 80 tomorrow?

If FFG won't build houses at the behest of big business, then they won't close down the country to protect people's lives over their livelihoods, also at the behest of big business.

Not saying I agree, but it is relevant.

    Stop please just stop.

You're making a fool of yourself.

Properly done contact tracing should prevent or slow down the imported cases from becoming clusters.

Actually, UK seemed to have done a fairly good job of it.

It's the jump to local transmission clusters we need to get a grip on.

Also, I see no material benefit to reporting locations of imported cases as long as contact tracing is done properly.
    Well said. Fully agree.

You'd swear Ireland was the only country letting in flights from Italy the way some people are reacting.

    Not a clue.

How do you think stopping flights from Italy will make any difference?

Train to Geneva, Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg..... flight to Dublin.

    Very simple, it reduces risk.

Wash yizzer hands and shut the F up. Easiest thing to do.

But we still need to know what part of the East the latest threat to our health is.

Why the prevarication. Honestly, this is becoming ridiculous. Or maybe it's just the usual cover up.

Hope the two sufferers recover. By next week there may be more. Not all those who went to ski in N Italy and landed in Dub were from Dub.

Not as much people may be homeless at the end of this.

Don't want to sound so grim, but the government, not that they want it that way. May have more vacant houses unfortunately.

Now you have me thinking of a homeless Greta Thunburg getting badly sunburnt and then catching the virus, while feeling uncomfortable about her assigned gender.

I mean, they inevitably will. And that will be tragic because people with nowhere to recover from it, likely with other health issues, will have a much harder time recovering. The poster was just indicating another situation the (hopefully former) government is responsible for which has already seen mass fatalities.

There are a lot of people in jail with less blood on their hands than the absolute scumbags calling the shots in this country. If the St Patrick's Day parade goes ahead, there will be mass transmission. Carnival in Spain went ahead and I can guarantee you that in a week and a half, their cases will skyrocket.

Could we not just err on the side of caution and cut our loss of human life for the sake of the few billion the parade will supposedly inject? The whole world will go into recession as a consequence of the damage this will do. Where there's a chance of hundreds of thousands of people not being around to enjoy it, I personally would rather face economic hardship than an Irish hospital.
