Why do people feel the need to post every change in the stock markets on a thread about a virus

I watched today on cnn that SK actually has a drive through test service and everyone can get tested i have a link but i am new here.
I replied to a similar post earlier but I'll repeat myself here.

That's only quick way of taking samples from people.

That would result in thousands samples being sent to the NVRL to be processed in a short period of time.

Those that may be actually infected may have to wait days or weeks for results.

Leo Varadkar seems more concerned with the Irish Economy then Irish Health based on what I’m reading today on RTE.

He’s really not good at addressing the concerns of the Irish People.

For a doctor I thought he could read the situation better.

I worked with him back when he was an intern and SHO He hasn’t been a doctor for ages and he is more apparatchik than good doctor or effective leader.

I wouldn’t be relying on his judgement for good medical advice.

The enonomy, business, life has to go on. He is no longer practicing AFAIK so his utterances are all about other things and keeping this country afloat economy wise.

But he is clueless with nice socks just the same, and is only a caretaker. Reckon he and Matt will feck off very soon anyway.

The dog in Hong Kong had been contaminated with the Virus. No pets can catch it but it can live on their bodies for a short amount of time just like any other surface.

The fact that they are not static might be why people talk about it ;-)

No worries if you are not interested, but the fact is this virus situation is very significant on the stock market with volatility not seen since the financial crisis.

I’ve told my sheepdog maximus to work from home tomorrow.
    He was worrying the sheep.

I really think it has to do with how many test kits those different countries have in stock.

How have SK got so many test kits? Did they not produce the kit after the discovery of the virus?

It's a fact of governance that lives are balanced against economy, happens every year at budgeting time.

I just hope they listen closely to the experts with this one; numbers on either side of the equation can become unmanageable in a short space of time

The most charitable and paranoid I can be is to say he now knows what is really required which has him spooked.

Doesn't help when South Korea declares war and Iran says they're releasing prisoners and deploying the military on the same day.

A second case of Covid-19 has been confirmed in Ireland tonight.

The case concerns a female in the east of Ireland who travelled from Northern Italy.

Officials say it is not unexpected and Ireland remains on containment with no community transmission.

Up to yesterday, 397 people have been tested and the results have been negative with the exceptions of the two confirmed cases.

No decision has been made on the St Patrick's Day festival but it is understood senior officials will introduce guildance on mass attendance events in coming days.

When they resort to this kind of measure, does anyone think their official figure of 1500 cases is even remotely representative of the truth?!
